Thanks for the good video! So if you just wash your hair 2-3 times a week, you mostly just leave the products in your hair and just re-wet it in the morning?
hey came through your videos today only..watched 5,6 of them...love your hair tutorial videos..i would be glad if you could suggest me a hairstyle,,i hv a bit thicker hairs and an oblong face..lots of love from India!!
have a problem with whenever i use a hairdryer, the back section of my hair always seems to fluff up and sits way higher than the fringe, you have any idea why that might be? like am i just using the hairdryer wrong
Nah you're not your hair hasn't been cut properly. Next time you're getting your haircut ask the barber to thin out the back and leave more weight on the fringe
depends on your hair type but i'll go through what i'd do if i didnt have i diffuser i have sort of medium density so in between thick and thin more on the thin side though i need to get it layered and straight hair (1b/1c i think) So what i'd do is go for more a fluffy fringe (works cuz im young asf) so wet your hair, scrunch dry/pat dry (GENTLY) until it's like 50% dry put some sea salt spray in (i made one but i doubt you wanna do that so i recommend the ones from pete & pedro, forte series and cleancut cosmetics, if you are going for anything else make sure the ingredients are natural and theres moisturising/hydrating ingredients as well so your hair won't dry out half way through the day) you'd probably need around 3-5 sprays with that length don't overdo it. spray in different areas and then push your hair like backwards and forwards so it's fully mixed in then scrunch it to retain some of the texture that you'll lose from blow drying without a nozzle. Then i'd use like a round brush or a wide tooth comb or like some hair clips to have the fringe flip up so half way through the length of the fringe you want it to go up. and since it's straight the rest should lay flat and cover your forehead. You don't want to curl it up too much. And then blowdry without a nozzle on low heat at first (if you aren't using heat protection) to get rid of some of the water around the whole head then use a warm heat to primarily dry the fringe in place and everywhere else. Then use a styling product to hold it. Since my hair is medium density i can afford to use something that isn't completely weightless like the moulding paste or styling cream from forte so i use the forte series pomade and grab like a pea size rub it around my hand spread it everywhere evenly and then tease the fringe til it fits your liking. obviously i haven't tried that but i imagined it so yea.
Hey Gavin, just wondering, im growing the sides of my hair out right now, im about 2 months in and the hair on the sides seem to just stay straight down. Around how long did it take for you to grow the sides out to a length where they get easy to fluff up and style?
Do you have any advice for styling hair thats more floppy? My hair is naturally straight and soft so when i put a normal amount of product in, it looks like nothing has changed at all

Yo Gavin whats your natural hair type and how does your hair look without product? I have straight hair and I'm trying to pull of your textured fringe look from 6 months ago. And what type of haircuts to you get? Have a great day Gavin.
Im wondering this too. My hair is criminally straight and thin at only 15 and Im not sure if this guy is achieving the look based on the product or his natural hair type combined with product.

what is the difference between grooming clay and moulding cream? because i have at home grooming clay but on your website is only moulding cream
