- Whilst browsing the Sky Guide, I noticed that CN Too's programming was becoming familiar to that of Cartoon Network's. I quickly suspected that it was set to become a timeshift variant of the long-established channel, based on the programs mirroring what was on CN -- but only an hour behind. I recorded the first program that matched this 'delay'.
This showcases the transition, with CN+1 relaunching after ironically being replaced by CN Too in 2006. What I couldn't see coming was the use of old Cartoon Network promos to fill in for time, as seen with both Foster's Home and Billy & Mandy, older CN properties (it even had the second logo). It suggests that they, at least in 2014 when this occurred, kept hold of their older promotional content.
The end of Cartoon Network Too, and the relaunch of Cartoon Network + 1, occurred on 01/04/2014. Also, the logo on both channels returned to its former position of the top-right side of the screen. - บันเทิง

CN +1 is sort of useless with the whole hour behind the main channel thing... You can just record something if you miss it. I used to Love CN Too.
We have something similar in the US called CN Western. Basically Cartoon Network 3 hours behind.

@@woodwould Yeah back on Cartoon Network Too, they used to play the original cartoon network shows whereas the regular Cartoon Network played the newer shows. Sometimes old shows and new shows would cross. But towards the last few months of Cartoon Network Too, it started to integrate its schedule to the regular channel as it says in this video’s description

I had a Ben 10 recording on my old sky box but it said Cartoon Network Too on the menu but when you put in 602 which was the channel number it would say channel no longer exists and in about 5 seconds it would redirect you to Cartoon Network +1

CN Too was the channel I’d be watching most because Cartoon Network was pivoting to introducing new cartoons while the older shows moved CN Too. It was a great alternative and something only UK viewers got to experience.

Skatoony moved to the first CN channel this year and I got it recorded. Still don’t know if still airs.
Edit: *It doesn’t.*... I moved to BT in 2022 so recordings would have been gone then if they weren’t already long gone. Every episode is available online on TH-cam, though. The last episode of Skatoony aired on Cartoon Network Too is ‘Halloween’.

European Mapper Cartoonito is a completely different thing. That’s our toddler block basically.
But thing is, in the UK we don’t really get “blocks”. We just split the channels most of the time. (BOOMERANG!)
I envy the way the US do it if I’m honest. And US Boomerang has a point.
But CN Too was our Legacy channel, that’s how I’d describe it. The Legacy shows went there as new programmes infested the main channel.

Teegee It was mainly our Hanna Barbara and anime block. We saw most of Batman The Brave And The Bold there. I can’t remember the rest, but it was basically our Legacy channel. And the original UK home of Cartoon Cartoons if I remember rightly.
