Awwwww! I always wondered what you looked like! 🤗 Thank you for sharing yourself! I love your pictures. It's been so amazing to me that here is this American lady creating art that could come from the moors and highlands of northern England, where I live, how does she know that landscape?! So it is wonderful to see the land that gives you inspiration, thank you! So far away, so different, and yet so similar! Especially thank you because you have been so inspiring to me to help me restart my mark making, restart my art making. It is literally a gift, and I am deeply grateful. Thank you lovely soul! I hope I get to watch your creations for a long time to come 💕
I have been to Scotland many times and the landscape is so inspiring. Happy that you’re creating work and making marks. Have an amazing day my friend! 😍
Good morning Trina…making some sourdough bread today and I got to see a video of yours…and I love it! I love the different colors you used and those marks with the “weeds” turned out great in the end; when you put the dry marks in it really make it look like (to me) a pile of rocks and grass and weeds growing around them…a fabulous outcome if you ask me. Now I know what to do with the weeds in my garden…😂 Have a wonderful day!
Girl, you have to paint with those weeds! Haha! Jealous of your sourdough bread. I’ve never been able to get a successful loaf, although I keep trying. Thanks for the lovely comment! 😍
Aaw so nice to see your smiley face. Your flatlands look stunning, thanks for giving a glimpse of where your inspiration comes from. We coulnt live in more different places. We have a plant called myrtle that grows into scrubby bushes and right now it has the most beautiful reddish colour like you put down in this piece. Myrtle has a lovely smell, l cant resist to pull it as l walk past. I picked some interesting mark making things up from the beach today, looking forward to seeing how they work. Thank you Trina as always so enjoyable.......Alioban ❤
It’s great how we find inspiration and beauty in our landscapes. I love the changing colors and textures even in the winter. I always enjoy when I get to visit the beach. I’m happy you enjoyed the video. Enjoy your beachy found tools. 😍
I was beginning to worry where you were tonight!I see where your scratchy lines come from now! I’ve flown over Kansas but never visited. Idk about all that flat land…when you are used to mountains surrounding you Cool marks You seem bothered by the test mat. Ha I g marks. Paint it white and cover it with clear packing tape. Viola wipeable surface!
Haha! There are hills here on the Eastern side of the state and the Konza Prairie is amazing. And yes, this landscape is what inspired the scratchy lines. Thanks my friend. 😍

You are so creative. Is that a pencil and a Chalk you draw with at the beginning.
It’s an oil pastel pencil and a wax crayon. Thanks for watching! 😍
Hi Trina! I had to rewind the first couple of minutes. It looked like the Caran D'ache resisted the yellow watercolor, which confused me at first. 😂
Oh no! I used the Neocolor I which are wax crayons. Sorry for the confusion. 😬
@@MixedMediaArtByTrina No worries! I loved the effect!😁
