Great video, with the 'Bunnings' content. I also find the mappings to setup localtuya are always a challenge, but you have documented these ones. Thanks.

Can you point me to the Aussie approvals for the Shelly units? I want to incorporate them in a new build but need to be sure about the legalities. Good to see some local content.

Hi Rod, the Dimmer 2, Shelly 1L, Shelly 1, Shelly 1PM and Shelly 2.5 are approved for use in Australia, if you search for "shelly" here you will find the relevant approvals - www.saaapprovals.com.au/resources/ (EESS/RCM database)

G'day, great video and thanks for the tear-down inside of the unit. How well is this sensor working 2 years on?

Hey Jimmy. Another excellent video, thank you. Do you know if it's possible to submit a product support request through the Tuya IoT portal? I purchased an outdoor PIR model DET100HA which is branded as Grid Connect but it comes up as Arlec in the SmartHome app. Running a device specification attributes request returns 'device not supported' so I'd like to request support as this would be an excellent addition to Home Assistant

Thanks enjoy this, luv a bit of Aussie content. Wondering if I would just use a small ZigBee sensor to trigger the Shelly.
In case you're interested another Aussie is The Hive.

You certainly could, but with this sensor it's just the sensor, it detects motion and turns the light on so it's going to be more realiable, I suppose it depends how critical the light is to the household ei. if it stop working occasionally how annoyed will the others be with me for messing around with the light in the house.

Sorry, I did have a look but it seems the only place you can get it is Bunnings and a few are on Ebay. Strangely my store near my house I a few on the shelf, but it's listed as a special order item.
