I keep a big 2 holes button to split the yarn when I use the inside and the outside of a ball. I also have a dice that I use for counting when pattern have 1 to 6 repeats.

Oh those are both really good ideas!

Oh I love the dice idea. I’m going to put one in my kit right now. Ty!

Oooo, I too love the dice idea…. I have so many pretty ones just sitting around doing nothing and the hat I make always has 4 and 5 counts I need to do… and I find a counter I have to put my knitting down to roll the number around to use is annoying sometimes!

I like to keep a travel size package of dental floss in my notions bag. I use it for life lines! I take a piece and thread it in the keyhole of my Knitters Pride Zing needle and just knit it through! Hi from Ottawa!

I keep I keep a little pad of the small Post-it’s and a bigger size that I find with the grid on them. On those you can make a schematic for repeats. I also have the highlighter tape to mark rows on the paternal especially good for charts. Just move it up to the next row after you’ve completed one. I enjoyed seeing all of your notions.😊

Great episode! I, too, am a scissor fanatic! I don't even know how many I have but it's funny how you can gravitate to certain ones that become your favorites!

Great episode, that pencil case is just what I need, as I have all my knitting 'bits' in their little boxes or bags on table next to where I knit when I am knitting, when not in use they go in a little wooden bowl - pencil case like this one would make more sense, thank you for sharing that.
I have kept a kitting journal for years, in an old account book - that was all I had to hand at the time so never bothered getting a 'proper' journal until this year would you believe I just kept buying new account boks; I find them invaluable, also very amusing (or mabe not) as you look back at items you seem to have knit not so long ago to find you made them maybe 5 or 6 years before!!

You're so welcome! The case makes everything so portable!
That's why I've been loving the journal so much! It's so cool to look back on everything and have nice, detailed notes.

Use a stitch unpicker to break the stitches holding the label on and it should peel right off. If it leaves a residue, you can use orange oil, a little dab to remove sticky residue.

I also use a knitting notebook to keep track of my projects. I use Ravelry to track the yarn I use, needle size, pattern name etc. but I use the notebook for calculations as I always modify patterns. I also use it to write lessons learned at the end which will help me if I’m knitting that pattern again or a similar project or similar yarn.

I love the flex! I may have to try the bead counter, and I have been seeing those silicone cables in a few places. That is also something that I plan to try. Thanks for showing your kit. It is fun and informative to see what other people are using.

I LOVE my row counter don’t know how I’ve knit without it. And the silicone cables. They’re such time savers!

I have a small needle gauge in my tool kit as well. Great for needle brands whose size markings wear off.

Great tip! Thankfully Chiaogoo needles laser engrave their sizes, so I don’t have to worry too much. But always useful!

I use a rectangular brush bag by the cosmetic bag company Wicked Sista for my notion pouch. Similar size to this one shown, I love it, it just holds everything nicely.

I have the silicone stitch holders. I need more but I can easily get them off Amazon. I have a lot of stitch markers but I need more of different types and progress keepers.

I love the floops, I bought several since I tend to lose small things. I also keep a nail file in my notions bag and, in my bag I keep hand sanitizer.

@@birchandlily Forgot to mention I also carry a small magnifying glass because I have old eyes. Sometimes hard to read the size markings on needles,

Still goes to their etsy shop for me. Just looks like they're currently out of stock. If you search "Floops Stitch Markers" you should be able to find a retailer near you.
