  • Hellooo friends!
Welcome to the first vlog series where I highlight some things that are going on in, as you guessed it, my life. April was a fun time because I was able to represent my company at a sustainable packaging conference here in the bay and was so nervous about going alone but managed to sharpen my networking skills and get them business cards!
    Until next time,

I love seeing the blogs you do involving work-life balance! It's been hard to find sustainability work after graduating but I'm on the hunt and your videos inspire me

Thanks Iyana! Maybe a future video idea haha but in the meantime, you should definitely check out the Sustainable Packaging Coalition website and view their publicly available resources that talk more about where companies should aim for when it comes to packaging

Hello, random questions haha, this is a field I'm very interested in but I have no idea where to start, what education did you need to land your career? Also, would math be a requirement for this type of job? I'm not very good at math myself which is why I'm curious!

Hello there, thanks for asking this question! My educational background is focused around environmental science and think majority of people who are doing this work either stem from a science or business background. Math wouldn't be the highest requirement in this field to be frankly honest unless you're planning on being a hard-core researcher who will need to do a lot of statistics. It is important though to at least know the basics of math, up until calculus.
