Hello! I’ve been practicing to play this on my piano, and I’m using this video as a guide to see whether I’m playing everything on rythme. So I’m just confused, did you switch up some parts around 1:07 or am I just playing it wrong? I’m using the same piano sheet music by the way. And is there any tips you have for this song? Ive been playing the piano for 5 years and I still need a little help if you don’t mind! ^^

I think what I have at 1:07 matches the score I created: it’s the measure with A FA FA FA (left hand) as eighth notes, and the right hand has C# D E as eighth notes? And you’re looking at the one in the Google Drive, yes? If it’s the one on MuseScore from duplicarto, I can’t guarantee that everything is the same, since many (good) modifications have been made on their part since I first recorded this. 😅

I really feel like pianists appreciate this song so much more, because this song is actually pretty difficult with all the arpeggios (etc). It truly showed Maris perfectionism. You played this perfectly, it’s so beautiful and I can tell that you played with emotion and soul!
Thank you so much! Yeah, I think the outward minimalism that the piece seemingly conveys directly opposes the actual veiled complexity of the music. But that’s the thing: people who watch the performance won’t see the times you’ve internally struggled learning and practicing the piece. It’s quite poetic, really, haha. 😅

I know these comments are basically from a year ago, but I finally found this beautiful video. I think you can hear the violin part not only because you're imagining it, but also because the piano part actually DOES play many of the notes the violin has on the same timing!! I learned this piece and year ago and learned it again recently. I noticed it did sound like the violin was there, so I looked at a copy of the violin music and it does line up!!
I am a 12 year old girl and i have been playing piano for only 2 or 3 years, i played this in my music class yesterday, my music teacher looked at me and asked what grade i was in. i said 'oh i dont have a grade because i dont do lessons' the expression on his face told me he was so impressed.

I learned to play this song because my ex loves the game, and I wanted to surprise her on valentine's day at a public piano we have nearby, two weeks before valentine's day she told me she cheated on me and that she couldn't be with me anymore, I still learned the song and went to the piano to play it by myself on valentine's day and it is indeed a beautiful song

This is absolutely amazing. It brought me to tears. It really reminds me of my brother who passed away early 2021, this brings me so many great memories. Your performance keeps motivating me since my last comment, and I started studying the score you put in description, but... it is so different from what you played in many moments, so i decided to transcribe your arrangement myself. I noticed that "PianoBin" arrangement is the most similar to yours on TH-cam, but still have some big differences and your arrangement is still more similar to the original song (and the most beautiful). After that, i downloaded PianoBin's sheet music and started editing these differences, to be just like your arr.
So the sheet music is related to YOUR performance, the exactly same notes :) Thank you again!

I had actually made this recording last year but didn’t post it until recently, and the score by duplicarto has since been drastically changed and I didn’t really notice, but I had actually already made a transcription on my OTHER cover of this piece, which also includes a flute part, and I think the piano part more accurately reflects what is played here, lol. I’m not really sure why the link you have keeps getting deleted; I don’t see any additional comments that are held for review, and I don’t really know how the private messaging system works on TH-cam. 😅 I can try to change some settings and then you can try posting it again and letting me know!
