I understand Luke has had troubles with alcohol in the past, right? So... WHY does his family keep so much of the stuff around? Or am I just being too logical for a soap opera?

Casey is hilarious. And the actor is really good. He went on to play the part of one of the princes in the movie version of "Into the Woods" shortly after this show ended. I think I also saw him recently in an episode of "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt."
When in an earlier episode Casey said he wish he was more like Luke it's something that sounds deep and very thoughtful from a young man that to others semm like he messes up things around him on purpose.
