Of you want to hear the way it sounds real and raw and true, in effected, go see the band live. It's an experience like no other to see a live band. Its not like watching this, and hearing it be imperfect but good. You feel the music in your whole body. You chest vibrates. Your toes tingle. You can feel the stage presence. Its amazing in a way words or a video can't describe. So those who hail covers, they aren't bad. They can be good. Even great. And the music video is a message that the band sends. And he may sound sick in this video, but I bet your ass if you saw him live you'd be raving about it. You can't compare covers and the original, unfiltered artist.
Oh its been 6 years but I agree to you. Being imperfect is what makes an individual better than others thats why I love the live better than the music video.
I love how people who make covers or reply about covers have anything to say about the original. The fact is, the original is the one which required true artistry to create. Creation is true art. This guy sat down, emotionally, and with his talent created this. Then someone else who like his music copies it and someone has the audacity to say theirs is better. Better than what? Other covers? Maybe... but the original is in it's own category and cannot be compared.
