Drew thinks up uses for other people's trash, pays them money for their trash, then pays tradesmen to create art out of what most would consider not usable The Ironworks Master is an Artist for sure, and also Drew is an Artist to see the possibilities and find the ability with workers to make them happen. Good job sharing this thoughtful artisan remake of old used up items that were and now still are remarkable and once again usable. Gracias!

Jeeze….that guy has a lot of talent working metal. Not just anybody can do what he’s done there. I think they look pretty cool 🙂 You have to love those lamp stands because of how he was able to fabricate them. Such a nice design and finish 👍🙂

I love old world craftsmanship. I know that same feeling when I work cause l do old world plastering and that’s takes a lot of patience and skill. I really enjoy the old work and there’s not many left out here that can still do old work.

The only thing I have trouble with Drew is, that now he can 3000 pounds for the light you know he's only paying a couple hundred for all of that work the other guy did. But at the end of the day, if everyone is happy than why not, I guess!💡Nice light.
I'm sure the blacksmith gained much more than a couple hundred....that's hours and hours of work. Anyway that's the market...sadly makers have always earned less than merchants but merchants have the ability to sell stuff to make good profit
He is a businessan. Drew doesn't just sell stuff he rescuesit and restores it.

This Blacksmith should have charged Drew more than $3,000 just to make those 16 pieces. I estimate is at least 4hrs to make each piece. An auto mechanic charges $80 an hour (and they are neanderthals compared to Nev). So we're at $5120. But Nev is probably "on Salary" so Nev gets screwed and Drew gets rich....
You are not the smartest if you are getting charged $80 an hour by a car mechanic 😂

Its a crying shame that we are loosing this craftmanship. The apprentiship I grew up with taught you a trade that would put you on a path to craftmanship, nowadays the apprentiship has been so degraded as to be laughable. I saw an advertisement for a nail bar apprentice, laughable and lamentable.
