Not having those random adlibs throughout the whole song is already great to me. I can’t stand the fact that they added so many adlibs in all their songs on the Forever album, it just doesn’t sound right. The songs themselves were great and I liked the R&B influence, but the album itself should be more pop, which was their signature style from the beginning, and it was still a popular sound back then. OR, maybe if they released RBAY as a single back in 1999 (with W.O.M.A.N as its b-side of course), as they performed both at the Earls Curt show already, then they could focus 100% on the R&B style (with different producers so the album wouldn’t sound boring). And to finish my Forever rant, I think IYWHSF would definitely be the perfect a-side for Holler, or maybe the second single off the album. If only Forever was like 80% THIS style and 20% darkchild lol
I don’t hate the R&B direction they went in for Forever but pop clearly suits them better, would have preferred a pop album with some songs with R&B influences
I prefer the version on Forever... personally yo me the change in sound to me was brilliant because they didn’t stick to the pop formula and made a pop/r&b sound before anyone else did. Them and BSB (with black and blue) both did that in 2000 but someone NSync got credit for it a couple of years later 🤷🏽♂️

Awwww this will be such a Cute Semi Huge Comeback. Huge for Kids.....for us Adults ummm we can certainly turn up the song with the little ones and relive our youth :) It Just Might Work... They need to come back with 1 Good Album. In fact work with David Guetta and Red One too.
id love a new album...maybe call it Spicegirls Womanhood or Hot N Spicey, or Girlpower 4.0 id love them to work with all the old spice produers, Elliot Kennedy, Biffco, Stannard but also to work with thoses of today i.e. Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Redone, Max Martin... would also like to hear them team up with Xenomania and mayb a feat with Cheryl Cole a Minogue or even TLC collab..... would be great if they went back to basics and made some kick ass catchy tunes which are reminiscent of their older tracks but modern and forward thinking too...would be wise if they also went for hot remixes because alot of their older mixes sound rather dated.....
I really don't understand why they made this song more R&B, we all know the Spice Girls are a POP band so why didn't they release the POP Version, it's much better anyway!
+Jimmy White well i liked destiny's child when i was 5 in2000, nsync they were pop/RnB but Spice Girl's tried very great! but it sounded like destiny's child lol both we're doing music to that was new so it was competition I loved the rnb album, they wanted to change their look to more mature on this album Forever So that's why
+Kenneth Brown That And NSYNC was Blowing Up! From Bye Bye Bye In 2000 haha so Spice girl's was now in deep competition with Groups in 1st grade i heard more Nsync, DC than spice girl's kinda sad but hey this is a competitive business
+Jimmy White nah i definitely wouldn't say done they had more left but , Geris Hailwell leaving there was only 4 so i bet it wasn't fun like it used to be that's y it didn't last long and since Victoria isn't coming back for the tour well it's 4 just like the last time all over again
I belive in spicegirls power..superhero..all are cool singers&respectfully for me..i knew whats are...but again what spice saied about new generation..is this about move over again .or you wana hit&geou..case yeou readi tu geo but they ore ready teu fly
I’m so annoyed that they went an R&B direction. They always had R&B flavours and influences in their music don’t get me wrong I love it but this album was just straight up R&B. Like Destiny’s child without the vocals of Bey, Kelly and Michelle. I prefer the Spice girls any day over DC. They should’ve had more pop elements in the album. This version has so much more personality and fun. It sounds more 2000s than the other two albums which is good because they’re changing with the times but it still has that classic “spice” sound!
I'm sorry Rodney Jerkins you destroyed this song. This is the version that was performed at the Christmas gigs in London's Earls Court in 99. With a bit of polishing maybe, but ultimately this is the version that should have been kept!
Do you think was actually writting when geri was still in the group in 98 and was in real for their 3album with geri? People think this also about voodoo or woman
anyone who thinks this version is better than the Darkchild version is smoking. Their collaboration with Darkchild was amazing. Aside from their first two albums being EPIC AF, the content on Forever was more of a mature sound for the girls. That album creatively, is my favorite
This song is too dated. Moving to r&b straight up was the right decision. They've been doing R&B sound since 1996 it was just more obvious on the 2000 album. It's a matter of taste but moving away from pop/camp after 4 years was necessary.
This is how they should project themselves to the world. Their forever image, honestly, did not gel well with the images whc they projected to the world from 1996 to 1998.
well their third album didn't sell as much plus so many things were going on...geri leaving, solo projects, poor promotion....i wonder how a 4th album would sound! Emma said at that time that the girls were discussing about it but..

Spice Girls Right Back At Ya
The vocals are actually different to the version on forever like theyve done it in two different studios, a lot more energy in this one
Maybe because someone else got involved ;-) Read the album sleeve :-)
I thought it's taken from a concert 'cause vocals are not so silenced. But live version was maybe different
@@samuan001 This track on here is the original version from the album - you've probably heard so many versions on here which was the live performances but still my B/V's are low in the background :-)
I'm speechless.
WOW. After years I can finally hear the Original.
10 Times better than darkchild's horrible mistake.
Mel B's RAP EVEN SOUNDS BETTER!!!
Manny Pineda the rap is exactly the same. They inserted this one in the album version.
Darkchild BUTCHERED and drained the life out of all their songs, except Holler and LLLTW. Have you heard his lifeless version of WOMAN?
@@Music1222 Where did you hear the Darkchild version of "W.O.M.A.N."? The only version of the song I've found is live at Earl's Court in December of 1999 on the Christmas in Spice World tour.
@@SkaMasta097 If you watch the Christmas in Spiceworld documentary they did, there's a little snippet of WOMAN in there. But I don't think it's actually produced by Darkchild, just an early demo from Biff
Emma's voice was a pure perfection at that time
Poo version sounded like old so 90's sound different than rnb pop version its so futuristic sound
Better than R&B version
I don’t hate the R&B direction they went in for Forever but pop clearly suits them better, would have preferred a pop album with some songs with R&B influences
It’s been a privilege doing backing vocals (Sue Drake). Nice to hear a different version
You make the B/V to this track? On the chorus?
@@MarcosAntonio-mo8fi Hi there yes I did both on versus and chorus's :-)
@@theoriginalsuzannadee4429 omg :O
The ooh ooh too?
All of it! Look at the credits on the album.
The best version 🙌🏼
I prefer the version on Forever... personally yo me the change in sound to me was brilliant because they didn’t stick to the pop formula and made a pop/r&b sound before anyone else did. Them and BSB (with black and blue) both did that in 2000 but someone NSync got credit for it a couple of years later 🤷🏽♂️
I still follow Spice Girls on Google alerts :D
Rev C Im still doin 2018
I love their harmony in the beginning
This is the version they sang on tour in 99
Why oh why they chose r'n'b instead of their pop sound. This pop version is amazing!
I mean it is amazing, but I loved their R&B sound and I think the final version was better than this.
I like this snd the album version too
I like the RnB version but I prefer this one, more in line with their previous albums.
Man, I WISH they were comin' right back at us (and the Girls were comin' 'round again) *sigh*

Agora é a hora (hora)

This just gave me so much life
Essa versão é melhor e com a cara da Spice Girls.

This song is making me move! I love them
i prefer the rnb version...way mature :)
I love it! November 2018
I like this version significantly than the Rodney Jerkins one. Their vocals sound more alive.
I am part of that spice generation yeah!!!
Omg this is way better 😭😭

omg this is so good
better than album version
Awwww this will be such a Cute Semi Huge Comeback.
Huge for Kids.....for us Adults ummm we can certainly turn up the song with the little ones and relive our youth :)
It Just Might Work... They need to come back with 1 Good Album. In fact work with David Guetta and Red One too.
I'd much rather they work with Max Martin than David Guetta.
id love a new album...maybe call it
Spicegirls Womanhood or Hot N Spicey, or Girlpower 4.0
id love them to work with all the old spice produers, Elliot Kennedy, Biffco, Stannard but also to work with thoses of today i.e.
I might make a fan made forever album with the better songs on it (and some Unreleased songs)
+Skunky Add the demo track 'Strong Enough' as well - thought this was great.
“Go on and do it!” ;)
Maravillosas!
+Kenneth Brown Very true, I guess they were just burning out
+Jimmy White nah i definitely wouldn't say done they had more left but , Geris Hailwell leaving there was only 4 so i bet it wasn't fun like it used to be that's y it didn't last long and since Victoria isn't coming back for the tour well it's 4 just like the last time all over again
+Kenneth Brown Now with NSYNC ...TWO WORDS...J.T. LOL
супер.
I belive in spicegirls power..superhero..all are cool singers&respectfully for me..i knew whats are...but again what spice saied about new generation..is this about move over again .or you wana hit&geou..case yeou readi tu geo but they ore ready teu fly
I like both versions but as an r&b lover, I like the r&b version more. This sounded more like a demo radio promo..
I seem to recall them performing this version live somewhere.
At Christmas in Spice World concert
i fucking love that photo :D
This version wouldn’t have worked in 2000 for sure. It has so much more energy than the remix
I think.no i dont think..im sure..but slowly..what it means i dont no
Cool
AMAZING!
I prefer the final version over this one.
This is so much better than the version on Forever. WTF were they thinking? 😮
I love it 😱
I’m so annoyed that they went an R&B direction.
Not bad! So many years ago - so sad... They could be #1 once again at that time, I think, but they didn't want it.
Is this official. I prefer this version!
Where is this from???
it was leaked online years ago
I'm sorry Rodney Jerkins you destroyed this song. This is the version that was performed at the Christmas gigs in London's Earls Court in 99. With a bit of polishing maybe, but ultimately this is the version that should have been kept!
I disagree. This version is cool and all but the final version was better.
@@nicorizzo5402 both are bops. This song is VERY 1990s the final version is less dated
Silence is golden..to improve is chance...who is cherchil i dont know nothing..what is pop..guidr me..this is 777 not 47🤔
I prefer the adlibs on the Forever album.. but this mix sounded more like the Spice Girls
Who saied miaaau🤔
Do you think was actually writting when geri was still in the group in 98 and was in real for their 3album with geri? People think this also about voodoo or woman
anyone who thinks this version is better than the Darkchild version is smoking. Their collaboration with Darkchild was amazing. Aside from their first two albums being EPIC AF, the content on Forever was more of a mature sound for the girls. That album creatively, is my favorite
Muito melhor que o original
Making the whole album "r&b" was a mistake..I like this version more.
There will be wwe match between red&blue but blue will not lose...but remember you got succeed only by one back breaker but match didnt end!
I love their harmony..
Lead vocal could be mel c/emma/geri
Most of female band the lead vocal could be only one
The outfits are gorgeous I miss Geri😭😭
Way better than the "Forever" album version!
I cant..
This song is too dated. Moving to r&b straight up was the right decision. They've been doing R&B sound since 1996 it was just more obvious on the 2000 album. It's a matter of taste but moving away from pop/camp after 4 years was necessary.
And yet Forever is their most dated album and forgettable
to you. @@imalwaysright
This is how they should project themselves to the world. Their forever image, honestly, did not gel well with the images whc they projected to the world from 1996 to 1998.
It sounds super dated. I prefer the album version
ehh the r&b version is way better, this version sounds like 5ive/backstreet boys reject and not in a good way
The album version is way better
well their third album didn't sell as much plus so many things were going on...geri leaving, solo projects, poor promotion....i wonder how a 4th album would sound! Emma said at that time that the girls were discussing about it but..
stop talking to yourself like a dimwit and get a life!! :-))))) it’s 4 years 😆
@@michalis304 from your choice of words and attitude it seems you’re a frustrated deadbeat :-))) Get out, find a job, a mate and get a life. You stupid troll 😆
Don't like thus version the meaning don't seem powerful
I might get hate for this, but while I do like this version, the album version was better.
R&B version is kinda annoying.
The production is weird and aggravating 😂😂😂
This song is similar to "too much" huh?
Too much is a ballad 🤔
