I really enjoyed this story. I listened after midnight of New Years Eve. What a treat! I want my grands to read it. The reader’s voice was very pleasant. He spoke evenly and I was able to absorb what he said easily. I have been awake for hours, but I am not tired. What a way to open a new year, a great story.
Well here i am 1/10/24 happy new year ya'll! Ive come to depend on these stories to sleep. I used alcohol to get to sleep after work to unwind and get to sleep. My liver has a problem with ny get sleepy method so HERE I AM. Sober for 90 strait days and nights. I didn't binge but i drank everyday 3 or 4 tall ones after work but now i listen to books and old time radio. Sometimes i come out to the garage and smoke and make comments and read them. Thank you for the upload and not having ads every 5 minutes! 😂
I just wanted to say congrats on the 90 days sober sweetie. Having no sleep is probably one of the worst things about kicking a habit. But if you haven't been told, I'm proud of you. I know I don't know you, but I know what I need to know to be proud of you and your accomplishment. I hope you are still going strong today hun. I don’t like to disrespect anybody’s work so all I will say is it’s not my cup of tea. But if you’re into huge insects chasing a man on a strange planet over and over you will enjoy it. I only listened to about two thirds of it before moving onto something else. 🇬🇧

I enjoy this. Does anybody know of a way to save where you were when you stop? I can do it sometimes but usually it gets messed up.
