OMG, I think that the last piece turned out ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !!!... And, it was soo INCREDIBLY INGENIOUS with the Dollar Tree items that you used to make it !!!... I always thought that I had a pretty CREATIVE MIND, but after watching some of your DIY TUTORIALS, I feel like I'm just average, anymore !!!... LOL... You totally inspire me, and I'd really like to live in your mind for about a week just to see how it works !!!... WHAT ???
If I hadn't watched you put that last DIY together and paint it, I would never have believed it could turn out so nice and so close to the original. Well done.
Mind blown sweets. That Emilia bud vase dupe? I can't even right now. You're right at first I was huh, than uber smitten with your end result. Great job girl. I love your style sweets!
They're all absolutely fabulous! But my fav is the fringed basket which I'm in the process of making. So excited I'm looking forward to more of your wonderful dupes.
LOVE the fringe basket! {"if loving FRINGE is wrong, I don't wanna be right!"} 😘 TIP : looks like if you gave the basket a quick (even a somewhat sloppy job) spray with some light tan spray paint, it would probably "camo" from being able to see where one's fingers might start cramping, lol, from tying all those knots. I ACTUALLY HAVE one of those baskets AND some tan spray paint and even have tons of raffia and may just have to whip one of those up today! {I even have a "vintage-ish" looking pale pink raffia I could use to go with my vintage, shabby chic decor! 😘 Thanx for the idea!!! I'd love to see "side by side" pictures of theirs and YOURS to show just how much alike they look for soooo much cheaper!
I'm in love with the rope braided basket. I have to make sure that I get several additional planters in various sizes b4 they are gone. I may even gift a few of those baskets ! Thanks! !
My favorite first was the braided basket! And then the last one. Ingenious! The fringes radia basket would be great for a themed Luau party! You are so talented!!!! Keep em coming!
These are *fabulous* dupes! I can't wait to make your version of the Cement-Dipped Basket and I'm in awe of how you re-created the Emilia Bud Vase. The Brass Spora Hanging Planter dupe is spot on and looks very high-end. It took a hot minute to decide that the whimsical "Miranda Fringed Bowl" is perfect for summer or for any home with a coastal theme (like mine😊). Thank you so much for sharing these projects--they're *all* winners!
Perhaps using white gesso instead of acrylic paint would give it more of a cement look. I make my own gesso (super easy) so I can make it as grainy as I want. Just a thought. Yours is very clever and my goodness, the price of the Anthro. one is nuts! #2 basket would look so cute at Easter time filled with colored eggs!! Love it.
Love them all. The last one blew my mind. I thought what in the world is that janky plastic clip going to be. But wow...love it. Im going to try that one for sure.
Aww, thank you, Glenna! I showed my family what I had in mind and they thought I was crazy until I actually assembled it and showed them what I meant! LOL I'm so glad you enjoyed these ideas! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! 🤗❤️
I just found nautical rope at my dollar tree for the first time in ages. I was so surprised. I love these videos. All the projects turned out really great.
Braided rope basket is amazing, with the fringed basket just a suggestion,I would have spray painted basket with a cream or beige first, then added fringe raffia.Great dupes!
Good idea! Dollar tree actually carries that basket in white as well which might blend in better too... I just used the black one because I had it on hand, but I love the idea to paint it first 😊
Hi Rebecca, I loved this video and your ideas. My favorite of all 3 was the planter with the braided rope and although the one half painted white was so cool - I actually liked the natural look. I definitely want to make some of your ideas that I have seen this weekend while I have been home with a stomach virus. And yeah - Friday was payday. For the rope planter I think it would be cool with faux dune grass in it like you see at the beach and with flatter shells such as northern clams or scallops glued to the side or mini shells glued all around but, only in the middle. I am running out of wall space in my condo but, I also love standing accessories. The one pot you had in the celery green, that is my favorite green. I think the roped pot about the size you had braided but, a little deeper would be cool to store 2 rolls of toilet tissue in it. Before I close - your home looks awesome where ever you are doing the video from it is very stylish and I think you should be a stager for a realtor. They are always looking for someone with style even if its only on the weekends and the realtors sometimes will give you the company credit card and tell you to go check out the home and then go buy what you need to stage it with. Sometimes the office lets you keep what you buy as a thank you - so my friend who is a stager always buys things that she would like for her home. So if your interested - make a portfolio of your own home or decorate some of your friends and find out who is needing a stager. My mom use to work for ReMax and I use to work for Nelson Reality and we loved it when we had a local gal to stage our homes - they knew the community and what people liked in that particular area even though everyone's tastes are different. Being a mom and a wife is full time enough and you may already have a career but, staging is fun. Thanks again for another awesome video. Sorry again this is so long. I haven't watched videos for a long time but, finally have a new computer. I made a vow to myself today that my housework is getting away from me because I come home tired from work and after dinner have been watching your videos and some of the other awesome gals. Have a super week. I also have a craft sale coming up on the 27th at an awesome coffee shop in Alexandria called Grounded Coffee. They are on the web and the husband and wife owners 4X a year opens one half of the craft shop to crafters. No table fee and the owner pays the sales tax for all the purchases so its based on a honesty system. They provide the tables and you just have to bring the table cloth. It will be my first time selling but, in Oct my sister made $200 and my friend made $300 from 2 to 5pm.
rEBEKAH BARDSLEY thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed these and thanks for sharing your ideas as well! Hope you’re feeling much better really soon! And that’s so cool you’re doing the craft show! I think it would be really neat to be a home stager! Maybe someday! ❤️🤗❤️
I’m new to your channel! You are super talented! I’m excited to see more of your creations. Just an idea: for the birds nest - maybe you can paint the basket the same color as raffia to hide some of the black.
Oh my word!!! They all look amazing but that last one looks so high end!! Please keep doing these Anthropologie inspired videos!! They are awesome!! You do such great work!!
You have a new subscriber!!! Absolutely beautiful. I loved the roped covered basket, but because of the ingenuity of the bud vase holder, I'm going to have to pick that as my fav.
I love the raffia basket and it's very much my style. I was thinking about how cute it would also be done with pretty ribbon for a little girl's room, strung beads, layers of leather/leatherette fringe. Super cute idea. I also really like the last project, the vase. I wasn't sure where that was going with such odd parts, but once you put it all together and painted it, it looked awesome, very industrial farmhouse. Very creative thinking!
Thank you so much! I'm still so in love with that vase every time I walk by it! 😍 The raffia basket would definitely be really cute done with ribbon or leather fringe ~ I love that idea! 💕💕💕
OMG!!!! I LOVE THEM ALL!!!! the planter is too big for my current space!!!! BUT,,,,, LOL im starting your previous waste basket today & then tackling the 1st 2, in today's video🌻🦋thanx,,, your AWESOME
Although all were beautiful, I love the first one, which was the rope-braided basket and the last one, which was the bud-vase!!! Great job all around!!! Tfs! 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow! Awesome diy. I'm going to try these ideas and the ones from your first upload. My daughter and her husband just found a house and I can't wait to help her decorate. Thank you!
You are SO creative! Love them all but really like the last one. Never seen anything like it. Please continue more videos like this. I love inexpensive decor! Could you do a video on styling trays for the coffee table or buffet?
So glad I found your channel, as you have some amazing DIYs!!! - Loved all your projects but I think the cement dipped braided basket is beautiful - it’s definitely my favorite! We just moved into a new home, so I can’t wait to make this for my downstairs bathroom!

None of these would fit my decor. My style is wow you have to much, you're a hoarder Old lady..lol But these turned out so very pretty. The last one I though ok that's not going to look any where near the expense one. But you nailed it!! Great job. Your video's are always so relaxing to watch and listen to. Great ideas so fresh and new !! Thanks so much
The one that looked like a nest is my favorite. Pier one had these organic balls made out of different materials -feathers, seeds, rope. Or soaps etc...
I love the raffia tied nest basket! Simple and fun to make. So pretty with the fruit inside like you show.
Loved the one with lemons in it Absolutely Beautiful !!!!
Love both the braided and fringed basket. You"ve got a great eye for crafting!

That crazy basket would be great for colored Easter eggs this Easter.. 🤗👍❤️

I loved them all. I love no buffalo check or farmhouse. Love your taste!!!
If wet the raffia and let dry, it stays a little straighter, may be easier to cut and tie.
