7:37 That male (if keeping with the theme for CAT 3 and Dial Up) could be "You've Got Mail" after the notification you got when logging on to AOL dial up 🤣
I love how Butterscotch’s cobra face, she was like “you woke me up too early😠”, it’s so cute🩷 And so amazed by how fast the first lavender baby grew up in this couple years! He’s not a baby anymore, he’s gonna be a daddy this year!
It's funny. Cause in Australia you don't have much choice but to get 'boring' ones. Not many people line breed, it's still a fairly new thing to do. I have a Coastal and I can't imagine him not being his natural self.
Same! I'm in Wisconsin, but I think ours are not too much brighter (have sadly never seen one in the wild). The colors might be duller, but the pattern is absolutely beautiful!
I feel so privileged to have been here on the channel through your expansion! When I first came to this channel, you still had your snakes in the basement and spare room of your house. Now you have a zoo and a fully stocked warehouse/web store! Congratulations on all your progress! ♥️🐍
I love how genuinely excited and in love with their snakes they are. With that many and them being a source of business, it would be easy to reduce the animals to simply “assets,” but there Emily is, immediately recognising 90% of their snakes despite looking basically identical to five others.
And how excited she is to say Good Morning to all of them. She's so fascinated and adoring of her snakes. It must hurt part of her heart to send each sold snake to their new human/s.
It's really awesome that you have the breeding facility now. It helps keep your collection protected so you can take in rescue animals and Quarantine away from your very valuable breeders.
Glad the hognoses and other snakes are awake and no losses. I know that hits Emily so hard. I love how Emily knows so many of her snakes. I have seen breeders not give them names and though some are really random, at least you know they are loved. ❤❤❤
You both are so good at this. The genre of video (I'm a 52 year old gal from rural Connecticut whose daughter helped overcome a lot of my snake nervousness to appreciate these amazing critters to binge watching this channel). ..the personalities (you both have very winsome personalities)...the care (I've learned a lot from you)...the entertainment is satisfying (from your ads to the link to your account on twitch with the live feed)...to the editing (I feel like you have a super successful length of video with , again, very satisfying bits of information and an actual completion of each "story", where I don't feel like I'm left hanging as to what happened to the individual critter). Thank you for putting this channel content out there for us. You inspire others to properly care for their reptiles/amphibians, you have an energy that draws others in to get excited about this content, and you do it all with an enthusiasm and spirit that just invites others to get involved. I don't know how much closer to a bullseye you could get with your channel. Well done! Kudos to Snake Discovery for some top shelf content. Thank you.
I've heard Fitness gram pacer test's name mentioned before and I always loved it XD an amazing callback for those of us who had to listen to that audio every year
Emily excited about waking up her snakes from hibernation is literally me talking to my hermit crabs and my cat 😂😂 So I completely understand the feeling
Yay!!! The start of my favorite season on Snake Discovery - Breeding Season. First comes brumation, then comes the pairing, then the little eggies laid in their perlite carriage.
The hogs are cute but bull snakes are my absolute favorite. I love there big personalities. Great video. Thanks for letting us be apart of waking up the sleepers. I’m so excited to see what you have planned for the breeding season.
In regards to "nobody wants eastern milk snakes": I totally want an eastern milk snake. Yeah, they might not be as striking as other milk snakes, but I still think they're pretty in their own right. Plus they're also native to my area, and that's a bonus in my book. (I've also heard that they're trying to mimic copperheads and similar vipers, but take that with a grain of salt.)
I've been wanting an Eastern milk snake! I used to work with one at a wildlife rescue, and I thought his brown/grey color scheme was lovely. Glad you guys are breeding them.
Ok for how long I have been watching you guys the Hogs have always been my favorite, but the moment you pulled out the lavender corn snake I immediately fell in love!
I love reptiles bc of them and I can’t wait to see the new breeding season, I love seeing the different babies Omg her reaction to being able to do Hognose’s 😭 12:42
I never knew about brumation until I started following Snake Discovery. When I think of my dogs, cat, and fish sleeping for 3 months, I sure would miss them!
“I haven’t been able to ✨Play✨ with them for three months!😭” I love how she adores her little babies like can we appreciate how relatable and wholesome that is☺
It’s insane to realize how long I have been watching your channel I started watching in 2017 or 2018 That’s 6-7 years. Holy cow. I was so little! I think my all time favorite snake is nearly headless nick. He was so adorable. Honestly I cried for hours when I found out he passed away. Such an adorable soul
Like every good Mom, Emily remembers almost all her kids names right off the top of her head 😂 --- I remember all 18 of ours, but I couldn't imagine THAT many. Emily is a Reptile Super Mom ❤
Indigo Montoya is one of the best names ever. a perfectly great name to break the naming scheme. if you ever get another one for the zoo, you should keep the name going.
i honestly wasn't paying attention for 2 seconds because i was mad at something not working, and i zone back into the video to emily saying "calm down olivia, you are fine" scared me.
I’m not super into snakes, but I love seeing people sharing their passion. Your passion and enthusiasm are what keep me coming back to your videos. I feel like I learn more than I ever thought I’d want/need to know about snakes from your videos. I’m invested now.
Today I went to my first reptile show and got to see a hognose for the first time! The lady at the booth guessed I watched your channel after my reaction to seeing their cute baby hogs and expressed my love for them! It was very special seeing those derpy cuties! As well, I got to pet a scaleless python and hold a few large species which was super special as my first time handling a snake in many years! Thank you snake discovery for feeding my snake fascination and helping my love for these beautiful creatures grow!
I used to work with eastern milk snakes and do education with the public about the importance of our native snakes. I've wanted to own an eastern milk ever since! I am so excited you will be trying to breed them!
From what I've heard the lavender scaleless doesn't work like other scaleless combos. Lavender color is the scales while other genes the color is in the scales and skin. So lavender scaleless look like corns that are just scaleless
The indigo without a name should be called Digital Multiplex, or "DMX" for short, the communication protocol for professional lights on TV and Film sets Since Indigo's are so pretty and brighten up the world!
I’m so happy for you guys!!! Ik this has been your dream for a while to have your own store and company! You guys are so passionate. I have been watching since the beginning of your channel and i’m so excited to continue following your journey! 💕
Honestly, the Milk snakes are my favorite in this video. They are the same as what we have in NY. We see them often and are always fascinated by how the patterns can look so different, even when they are all the same basic colors.
Best pet supplies advert ever. And yay!! Theyre all awake now!! ❤❤❤ Can't wait for all the egg and hatching videos. Have to say hoggies are my favourite (also prob because we don't get them Down Under).
I’m so excited about this video because that means breeding plans are coming up which means ALL THE HOGS THAT WEREN’T BIG ENOUGH IN 2023 WILL FINALLY HAVE THEIR YEAR AND IM ECSTATIC
Having been bit by a coral and chased by diamond backs I had a severe fear of snakes. Watching you guys has allowed me to at least start watching you without my skin crawling when I see a snake. I've missed you and the snakes and I am glad they get to wake up. I like the lavender hognoses. Sorry, not sorry 🐍
Yes! I missed them so much!!!!!! I love all your snakes Edit: I’ve always wanted a snake but I can’t have one since I’m younger but I know everything to do!! 😢😢
Wish i could have a snake but after watching how my husband reacted when i had to catch a very young gray rat snake that got into the house ive come to the conclusion hes very phobic about them. I was 99% sure it wasnt venomous but he was all nope so i had to do it. Hes lucky i love him!
11:50 I for one love the brown milksnakes. The belly spots are pretty! You should try to breed some with really really dark/black spots if that exists!
I would really enjoy a photo shot episode of all the breeders. Like with either the black or white background and name tags. Plus you know at least half the video would end up as snake shenanigans. They would make fun reference images and informational pages when talking about breeding plans and egg hatching vids and genetics. It would be so fun to have little visual family trees for some of the snakes and/or genetic combinations. I have learned so much from Snake Discovery, and visuals are a very helpful learning tool.
7:37 That male (if keeping with the theme for CAT 3 and Dial Up) could be "You've Got Mail" after the notification you got when logging on to AOL dial up 🤣
Love it! It's happening
Hahahah! I love it! XD
I was about to say Floppy disk 😂😂
If they get an unfriendly male, call him Elon because of Starlink
@@MtnNerd They already have a Musk turtle named Elon in their turtle tank in the zoo.
I love how Butterscotch’s cobra face, she was like “you woke me up too early😠”, it’s so cute🩷 And so amazed by how fast the first lavender baby grew up in this couple years! He’s not a baby anymore, he’s gonna be a daddy this year!
"We don't have a lot of enrichment right now"
Queue of 100s of Snake Discovery fans sending a bunch of fanmail with enrichment
She really did tempt fate by saying that....
She should know better by now
but they won't open the mail for months and randomly open a ton of enrichment in the fall
Uh oh, what did I do 😂
@Kiyeran I think it's safe to send enrichment since we all know Ms.Emily will add more hognoses since she has an "addiction" to them lol
Loved the MBK that needed his emotional support log/decor
Its not a mbk
As a person who loves the idea of native species as pets (but not wild caught), I would LOVE the "boring brown" MN milk snakes!
My wife thought they were beautiful. She often prefers the wild type coloring.
Me too! They're gorgeous, "boring brown" or not.
I think they're gorgeous. I'm actually very fond of brown and its array of shades in general though haha.
The fact that you have so many breeders and still know most of them by name is very reassuring.
Since I gave birth 8 weeks ago I haven’t had time to watch these videos but definitely gonna catch up tonight providing I don’t fall asleep… 😂🥰
congrats on your new addition!
Congrats! The two month mark is perfect time to catch up on shows. Or it was for me anyways lol
Congratulations ❤
Congratulations 💜
Congrats mama❤

That is such a great thing to point out! I also love how much Ed and Emily love their snakes!
And how excited she is to say Good Morning to all of them. She's so fascinated and adoring of her snakes. It must hurt part of her heart to send each sold snake to their new human/s.
yes ! the fact that most of them have names is very telling !
@@YashaVatrushka And the ones without names are just because they havent thought of one for them yet

Emily: “I love all my snakes equally!”
Hognoses:
So true
Those hognoses wanna be the favourite!
Hognoses: we are da derp rulers
I feel like the hogs know that 😭
Drama queens.
Props on that ad! Usually I just skip through them but that was hilarious!
Ed throwing merchandise at Emily and Gary's shenanigans will *NEVER* not be funny

I actually would prefer them, I like those earthy colorations more than the red/orange ones. 😊
That lil commercial at the beginning was SO cute😆
12:36 the genuine sadness in Emily's "whaat no" was so cute lol >
Emily went full Gollum saying "My BABIESSS" in the intro😅
I've been wanting an Eastern milk snake! I used to work with one at a wildlife rescue, and I thought his brown/grey color scheme was lovely. Glad you guys are breeding them.

Love seeing how you guys have grown! I remember when you were doing videos in your own home and now you have your own facility and zoo!
Plus a warehouse and website!! They’ve grown so much! :D
Sunny side up is my favorite! She’s so pretty all grown up!
Its so true!
I absolutely love how far Emily&Ed has come❤ it’s wonderful seeing someone live their dream 💭
Ed singing "Afternoon Delight" made me laugh out loud! I remember that dopey song from when I was a KID!😄
I love reptiles bc of them and I can’t wait to see the new breeding season, I love seeing the different babies
Omg her reaction to being able to do Hognose’s 😭 12:42

Pearl's so big now! She has such a unique pattern, like a Mexican hognose, it's so cool!
It’s insane to realize how long I have been watching your channel

Indigo Montoya is one of the best names ever. a perfectly great name to break the naming scheme. if you ever get another one for the zoo, you should keep the name going.
So sweet, Bacon! I'm biased because I've experienced the joy of holding her! 💜💕
Has anyone considered buying enrichment /from/ Snake Discovery and having it delivered TO them so they get both the stuff and the profit?
Lavender hognoses are my daughter's favorite! She loves watching Snake Discovery!!!
i honestly wasn't paying attention for 2 seconds because i was mad at something not working, and i zone back into the video to emily saying "calm down olivia, you are fine" scared me.

DSL, Ethernet, or Coaxial would be a good name for the unnamed indigo boy.
I like Ethernet and then he can be Ether for short!
I think twincore would be good, and a subtle reference to male reptile anatomy
Cable, Internet and I truly liked "You've Got Mail"❤
or Landline
Can’t wait to see the breeding plans for this year
I'm so excited for this breeding season ✨✨❤️🔥
I'm so excited for sunny side up babies!
from at home, to zoo, to now a facility! can't wait to see its completion
I love the black king snake. Those vibes are immaculate
0:07 and this is why it's called Snake Discovery - they are Emily's babies indeed
I love the videos of showing off all the snakes and their names. I'm one of those who doesn't have reptiles and enjoys them through your videos!

Spicy Balls, Congratulations Snake Discovery🎉🎉
It's the Bulls, they are my favorite. I'm so thankful to this channel for introducing the species to me.
i could be wrong about the theme, but if i'm not, the third eastern indigo should be named Atari
These snakes and yall have been giving me life for 4 years now. Thank you for sharing your work and joy with the internet peoples ❤
The new angry sunburst hoggie girl could be Cranky Karen. You know she will not hesitate to call your manager!

Emily in the beggining is literally me anytime i see anything from snake discovery 😂
I have to say this new camera shows the colors of the snakes so well!
A snake being named fitness gram pacer test has officially made my day😂
Hognoses are always adorable, but I think my fav of those is the lavender holdback (unnamed?) cause I love purple
1:04 the way bro just airstriked that box LMAO
I have been waiting to see when they were all going to wake up again. Looking forward to seeing a feeding video soon.
For the male eastern indigo: Ether, short for Ethernet!
Such sleepy snakeS!
I also like the more boring coloured reptiles!
Thumbs up if you love snake discovery!!! 🐍
I’m glad that you didn’t say like the comment if you like snake discovery😊
Oh, the corn snake got out... again. Someone didnt want to take their winter nap hahaha.
