RIU Palace Tropical Bay in Negril. Jamaica

A walk around this excellent hotel, restaurants, pools and beach - refurbished 2018.
In the Negril Buffet restaurant there are four hot cooking stations, a carvery and two centre islands one serving mixed salads, cold meat etc and the other island serving desserts.
The four speciality restaurants are - Krystal (Gourmet), Rimini (Italian), Hakuchi (Japanese) and Steakhouse.

We were there at the end of January. Excellent resort, great food, beach, accommodations and location.
We'll be back next year!!! The employees are awesome!!

Ok just to let you know we were at the hotel a few weeks ago. It was great ! The room were spacious and clean the buffet restaurant excellent. The pools clean with plenty of sun beds to go round. I highly recommend it

Where there any issues with bugs ( cockroaches, mosquitos, flies etc.)? The last resort I stayed at had a huge problem with flies in the dining areas. Thanks so much for your review. Planning to visit this resort.

Absolutely not, you see flies here and there, we only caught 2 flies the whole time we were there, so it’s nothing to worry about.

is this adults only? also how is the night life? do they have entertainment? like shows and bands and what not? we went to the riu in dominican republic and every dxay at 9pm they had a special performance and thought that was pretty cool. Please let me know if they have this there.

What's with this 2 beds pushed together garbage?? I'm not travelling down there for that! How bout a REAL KING SIZE BED?? Heard of that?
