Thats a great update Larry. The DCC control systems are getting very involved now. I'm a old school DC guy with far too many locos to change over ($$$$$$!) so I'll probably stick with it. Anyone starting out though, Id recommend go DCC right from the start. It's very cool stuff.
I have to admit that part of me wants to stay with DC. My DCC locomotive does run very well with DC. But I have some plans for the new layout that require DCC. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Hi Larry. The DCC-EX system you assembled is very nicely configured. Thanks for explaining how it works. I am looking forward to seeing your progress on this new model railroad. It sounds like your allergy has improved. My throat and eyes are burning from all the grass pollen so I feel your pain.
Cool stuff Larry! I'll have to admit I have no idea what DCC+ is. I've heard it mentioned before but still haven't looked in to it. I just ordered a DC PWM motor controller. I'm hoping it will work for my turntable. I also make use of a Pi for my layout but haven't really integrated it yet other than with operations. It's always great to see an update from you. LOVE the pointer and the 0-6-0!
Thanks Dennis. My original pointer got misplaced. I was going to blame it on you...lol, but decided just to use another older one. I want to look into PWM for my narrow gauge DC control. Not sure if I want use a PWM module or use Arduino and motor shield. That will be a future update. Thanks very much for watching and commenting.
Great info, Larry! Love the way you marked out the supports before locating the switches.
Thank you Stan. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thanks John, very much. I hate allergy season....you know it's coming, but there is little you can do to stop it. Stay safe!
Great update. Very interesting video. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Thanks for watching Dave.
Thanks for the update, Larry. Glad to see you moving ahead and look forward to more!
Thom, thanks for watching.
Hi Larry. I hope everything is well with you and you are making good progress with your model railroad. I always enjoy seeing your work.
Hi, John. Everything is going well. Just very slow. Thanks for commenting.
