Great video, I want to replace my R22 unit with a new 410 unit using my old line set. In the old days we would you a special burnout dryer and sometimes flush with R11 also. Any suggestions?
Good video! Question off subject, I’ve heard you mention in other uploads about parts being warranted for 10years on a unit. Would duct actuators fall under that or just internal parts of the unit ? I have a Honeywell m847d-zone damper actuator went/going bad just curios
Also shot 250PSI into the tank because helper didn't listen. That pressure relief valve works, but it will scare the hell outta you when it goes off. 😂😂😂
Good timing . Just bought that same kit today . Changing out a R-22 unit and putting in a new 410A .It does run $160 per kit , expensive I know. But so are call backs . The customer just had to eat the cost on this one .
Save the container , cut out the top , Wrap about it 1 inch thick with rubbatex and wrap over that a few wrap with duct tape . Now you have a suitable heat resistant safe container for using heat generating drain chemicals like "clug"for example.
NEVER, NEVER use flushing agents on linesets. Most HVAC manufacturers DO NOT approve of using flushing agents. Just get a pipe wiper kit and clean them that way.
Seen twins but never trio on splits. Most of what I work on is industrial.
Good tips
Thanks
I always learn something from this channel. In the comments some people talked about using 99% alcohol. Wonder if that works too?

yes that is what I would do

Just parts that are contained within the unit
Okay so not gonna admit anything. I've heard you can use isopropyl 91% instead of the liquid. Save yourself 100$ or so.

Nice 👍
Great video that was pretty nasty
Just use 99% isopropyl alcohol. About $7 a bottle.
I wondered that myself. How has your experience been with doing that?

Wonder if acetone and nitrogen would work as well?
Best way to use it is to throw it in the trash can, as it is useless.
Does that come out more economical than the pressurized RX-11 flush kit?
Yeah it’s a little cheaper once you already own the kit.
Super.nice. thanks.

Nice experience 👍🏻
Yes it was!
Thank good video.
Glad you liked it!
Nice info! I wondered if you could also flush from the liquid line and have it come out the suction line? You still have to remove TXV?
yes you could and yes still have to remove the txv
Love it, thanks man🍻
