They broke poor Jason Campbell. He really wasn't a bad player. He had a new oc every season he played in the league. Continuity is a huge bonus for a young qb.

That's great news . Need him to stay for at least another season give JD and the team time to really get a chance to get the team built up to give the offense a chance to truly execute the plays with more talent .

Next year he'll get a raise in an attempt to get him to stay. No need to do it this year, as he's no longer an option for any of the NFL head coaching jobs. He's getting paid by two teams right now, money is not the issue.

I will say that Jayden can thrive in any system. If they start losing and teams catch up to that offense then there'll be some frustration there between Kliff and Jayden. Unless they get a dynamic running back play another wide receiver the offense will regress
Imagine if we had a consistent running game this year. Not sure if it was an offensive line issue or a running back issue. If given time Jayden can pick any defense apart with his accuracy and timing of throws.
I agree with you somewhat, but if they don't get that O-line dominant and squared away so they can run ball, then other teams WILL catch up. The unit does okay with pass protection but them not being able to displace the line of scrimmage nullifies their run game and it makes them too one-dimensional. Kliff has a very dynamic offensive system that schemes guys open, but it doesn't work as well without a run game. Plus, you look around the NFC and all the really good teams have above-average defensive lines who get after QB's and stop the run. If they want to compete next year and not regress, they need to get active on fixing the talent and depth in the trenches.
@@Lordface11751 That was an O-line issue. They use more of an inside zone blocking scheme and a lot of RPOs, but O-line can't get enough of a push and into the second level fast enough to get explosive run plays. They need bigger and more athletic Guards preferably.

We saw what a dominant Oline can do last Sunday.
If you think about it, the Commanders should be making deep playoff runs for the foreseeable future. This could make it more difficult for other teams to get to Kingsbury, especially those who want to hire quickly.
I think it just makes sense from a standpoint of ride it out with JD, get more talent around him, build that line and see what KK can really do with a complete offense complimented by JD.
It only helps his resume, and he can have the luxury of waiting for the perfect situation while tearing it up with JD.
I really think Tavita is going to step up and be the next OC, after two years under Kliff and working directly with JD5 for 2 seasons as QB coach, he'll make the perfect OC for 2026 season.

Congrats Commanders fans on a surprise great season and keeping the guy who made your offense great besides having a great QB. Makes sense now why he is staying because he is still getting HC salary and is in a spot he is way better and has a great young QB. Hope my Bears can copy your season next year and surprise people.

Pretty obvious the Saints are hiring Moore. Everyone in the Saints run is done after they flew out to him. Just that no one can say anything about it yet until after SB.
IMO.. Jayden makes Dyami look better.. if he leaves for the bag it better be big.. he’s more likely to put up more stats here with JD and get more long term than going elsewhere.
Depends for how much I guess.. but there are few QBs as good as JD willing to spend money on a wr like Dyami. I guess we will see.

Not too likely that a Head Coach would up and leave. Can they even leave if on a contract because I thought it had to be a promotion from them to leave on a contract. But I could be wrong. Just making the point that more of a chance a coordinator leaves than a head coach. In Kliff case, to me he's shown he's more of a coordinator than a head coach based on the past.
How is it not a rule yet that you can’t interview new coaches until the season complete in ends after the superbowl?! It puts coaches that are in the playoffs in very awkward situations
