@Johnny Gaddar i haven't watched dhadkan, but namaste London, yes it was a good hit and a nice film, but came in the midst of that comedy to patriotic/drama/period phase transition probably. So my categorisation was on overall phase basis, yes u might find one or two, let's say good romantic movies in any other phase.
Lakshya was not directed by Prabhudeva it was directed by Farhan Akhtar, Prabhudeva choreographed the song 'Main Aisa Kyun Hoon' and he is an excellent dancer you guys should react to his dance.

Yes this movie is kind of an homage to 90's Bollywood films...its campy and full of fun. Worth a one time watch. The original Telugu version was directed by SS Rajamouli (of Eega and Baahubali fame). Those dialogues are as 90's as they can get and Akshay has a blast doing this role. Definitely watch it!

He started his career with action movies, but his movies didn't do well though he still kept getting movies due to his very good work ethics, then in 2000s, he started doing comedy movies that really cemented him in people's hearts. Now only from a few years, he is doing patriotic movies ever since he made(he produces movies) Airlift and it did well a few years back. Padman and Toilet are his production movies including Airlift.

This is actually a really good movie to watch given that you understand the genre and premise of the movie. Yes it was intended to be campy, comic and over the top for the most it, which it actually is as well.
You could say that there is a specific sub-genre of comedy in Bollywood and Rowdy Rathore is definitely in the decently higher ranks of that sub-genre.
The movie is indeed as good as the trailer.. Its an amazing movie..

haha! I loved your reaction! This was also another of my mixes! This was an extremely fun movie to mix. What was interesting about this movie was I was working double shifts. I was mixing the sound of Rowdy Rathore in the morning and later at night I was mixing Gangs of Wasseypur! :D Two completely opposite movies and this went on for 14 days. I wouldn't ask anyone to attempt this, but these two movies were just so much fun!
