MESMERISING RANIPURAM | THE OOTY OF KERALA | MOTO SAPIEN

Ranipuram is one of the places that i wanted to visit since quite a long time now.
Ranipuram is situated in the Vellarikundu taluk, Kasargod District, usually said as it is located at Panathur.
Ranipuram mountain peak rises to 1022 metres above the sea level. It is 2.5 km trek one side and it involves climb in mountains and walk through the woods.
It is 45 km away from nearest municipality Kanhangad. Ranipuram is adjacent to Kottancheri-Talakaveri mountain range.
If you are visiting from Madikeri you can visit through Madikeri Sullia Route or take the beautiful Talakaveri Reserve forest route.

I was visiting Ranipuram from Mangalore. I had 3 Routes as Option. I took the Puttur sullia route. Sunrise in Ranipuram is amazing, but because of Forest protection from idiots the Rule of visiting the place after "9 AM" had been imposed lately.
But yet the views top of the hill is worth viewing at what ever time you are visiting. Winter & Monsoon season is the best time to visit since the place will be covered with Fog like Ooty. Hence the name 'The Ooty of Kerala'.
