    cool! lol Not sure about the worlds first, as it's pretty ez to put an analog camera on an rc car, but pretty cool innovations. I've also put my drone on my rc car before to range check it. lol

      Yea. The digital version was a bit hard to program. You had to update the FC, goggles, the air unit. Root it, add extensions, then program the cli.
      But worth it to get the OSD working.

    Nice job. I did something similar a year ago with a 3d printed RC car (the Tarmo4), and adding DJI FPV to it. SO much fun! Does your gimble prevent bouncing in the FPV video? That makes mine tough to drive, but it is still fun. I really liked your head tracker, and functional mirrors. Buzzers on drones are used to find it if it crashes in a field, so I was skeptical when you said it was an anti-theft device, but then I saw your other video! LOL.

      FPV cars are sooo fun. The Gimble doesnt seem to help too much for the video, but drivable for sure. I am installing the proline duo shock system soon to see if there will be a difference.

    Cool car. It's always interesting to see other solutions to various problems. Did you consider running the car straight from the flight controller? This way you could dramatically reduce the amount of wiring and have flight modes, stabilization, full osd features and statistics when you disarm.

    • @thelawfamilyproduction329
      @thelawfamilyproduction329  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I thought about doing it on my NX8. But a car remote is such a smooth diving experience compared with a flight controller. Plus the ABS and gyro helps.

      @@thelawfamilyproduction329 I use a stick controller because that is what I'm used to. Theoretically it could still be done on a trigger controller. You just have to set your neutral trim to match the FC.

      @@thelawfamilyproduction329 it's a gyro, but yes. All that's needed is to run the Din cable to the radio, but typically I just mix the pan to steering. I've got a little 1:16 I gave the fully articulating camera w/flashlight, it has 1.3ghz AV and 5.8ghz relay for my LCD screen. Everything about the car was extremely easy to setup, but the hard part is still the video quality and distance. 5.8 was great for me at high power until I got that extra foot outside my limit, which was maybe 50 feet tops through obstructions. 1.3ghz was not much better, but did penetrate well.. however the distance only improved another 50-100 feet tops for me. It blows my mind how buying a DJI and goggle system is basically giving orders of magnitude better reception. Like, it's got to be something around 100X better than any 1.3ghz system but I've yet to see any real explanation as to how it's possible.

    • @thelawfamilyproduction329
      @thelawfamilyproduction329  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea video and distance for FPV RC Car is the hardest thing to do.
      DJI have some sort of magic that makes everything work. Not sure if it's the channels, hardware, etc. But the dual 5.8 works really well.
      The upgraded antenna from TrueRC helped with the range when I tested them.
      Check out Chadd RainsFPV for the 03 air unit instead. I think it has better range penetration than my set up.
