You can literally FEEL the emotion embedded in this melody. The love Serenity and Endymion had for each other, and the sadness they endured to continually prove their love to each other.
Thinking about those moments where Serenity and Endymion lost everything at the end of the First Silver Millenium...brings tears to my eyes. But, then...the love between them proved so strong, so deep, so powerful...that they overcame Chaos, the embodiment of Evil and Disorder in the Galaxy; and then together ascended to the throne as Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion, ushering in a Second Silver Millenium in Crystal Tokyo; ultimately giving birth to Chibi-Usa the next Princess.
and what's more is that while they raised Chibi-Usa on stories of Sailor Moon's victories, she herself even got to see first hand just WHY Sailor Moon is the strongest Senshi...WHY her crystal shines so bright...why she never gives up. Her love for everyone, her friends, family...gives her unlimited power.

Basically to make a long story short... I have battled depression my whole life and I was suicidal junior and senior year. Senior year I watched sailor moon and it taught me to always be positive even in the worst of times, and it really just got me through the days. The music just makes me super emotional, and the entire story is just beautiful.

The harp is truly a magical instrument it makes you feel like your in a fantasy world by its sounds

There is sooo much *awesome* music throughout the series. I love the story too (plus it was my first anime ever), but the music is my favorite part.
Late reply, but SM got bought by Viz here in the usa. Don't know what country you guys are in, but it's free to watch in a new dub or with subtitles on yahoo.view. It's not the same as the 90s show, but I like the Japanese subs better. Richer, deeper story. There's also Sailor Moon Crystal, and merchandise online. 💖😊🌙🌙
@@miniwolfsbane2407 - The 90's show (US version) got cut way down and the scripts more or less rewritten for every episode. The Japanese version is the original, and yes, waaay better... though I do still have a soft spot for the US version.
@tirsden Oh, yeah, I know all about the 90s scripts getting rewritten. (Still can't believe they cut out bed wetting and Chibi Usa getting spanked!) That was how I got into Sailor Moon.

This music is called, Miracle Romance in Sailor Moon OST. An instrumental version of Moonlight Densetsu. Symbolizes the eternal love between Serenity & Endymion. I got so emotional when I watched the last episode on season 1. The fact that they all died & Usagi's tearful plea of how she misses her normal life & wanted to go back. It's so beautiful yet melancholic that this piece is played using a harp. Reminds me of Sailor Mercury's Aqua Rhapsody attack name. Lol

@mish098aimer the anime really isn't that great apart from a few episodes, people hype it on nostalgia more than anything. But it's definitely worth reading the manga, it's such an emotional story.

I don't know what it is about this song, man. It always fills me with this sad feeling. I suppose it's a nostalgic feeling, but a sad one. In any case, well done. You play quite well and this version is very beautiful.

It’s nostalgic, but also things played slower and on a harp, or piano when originally they were a fully produced song, it reminds me of death or sullen moments in games when they bring back the theme to tie it together, but also emote.
subseven i think the original writers wanted it to be sad, since it’s in reference to the moon kingdom that got destroyed and when Usagi was killed, her mother sent her and everyone she loved to the future, where she wouldn’t be remembered, ending the Silver Millennium, and the Moon Kingdom 💔

Sailor moon was the first ever anime to make me cry and the first I’ve ever watched this brings back memories when I would just watch continuous episodes of sailor moon till my eyes couldn’t stay open thank you Harpsona for reminding me of those wonderful times
So beautiful. Sailor Moon is a big reason why I love cats and moons. This song made me so happy, relaxed as well as sad. Takes me back to my childhood, but most importantly reminds me of my cat I had since I was 9, she passed away in 2018 at the age of 19. I love her and miss her so much she was my baby ❤️

Thank you so much for this piece. As an immigrant from a country that localized this series for the kids when I was a kid there, I don't have many people in my current country who share with me the same connection or degree of nostalgia for this piece of music. Other preserved older versions, in audio or video, of what I heard in childhood are greatly diminished by limits in technology and degradation over time - your harp solo however, not only captures the form of the iconic music from my childhood, but even adds a genuine emotional quality of the song that resonated deep within me as a child and even now! In fact your music sounds just as if not MORE soulful than the rendition of this piece of music that echoes in my heart from time to time!! Thank you SOO much for this - I am... blown away, and am full of joy at this. Keep doing what your doing and thanks for being an awesome human being!
