with example 5 "yàa tam à-rai gern dtuua" you said the a-rai refers to anything overall but if i want to say this to someone about work can i say "yàa tam ngaan gern dtuua"?
Hello, here is a question: About the explanation at 7:00, is it possible to put the mai in front of dai instead? To my brain, it seems like we want to say that working over 30 hours cannot be done, but instead express that it's possible to work less than 30 hours per week? Do we have to say it like that? My initial try was "nak rian ti mi visa nak rian tam ngan atit la goen 30 chuamoong mai dai". Since I learned that expressing an impossiblity can use "mai dai".
@@thailessonsbynew ... call me crazy but to me that simply means "the box is over 50 kilos" ... don't we need a 'limit/restriction" word like gam noht ??
@@FairwayJack you are not wrong, you can say náam nàk gern gam-nòt or you can just say náam nàk gern, as the word gern already imply that it's over the limit, so the word gam-nòt is optional 😊
