The substance of what Prof. Higgins is saying, if taken to heart, would free the planet. It only took 7 3/4 mins to share. We are in a progressive time indeed that we can be privy to it and not fear dire remonstrations. We are in a most dynamic time. The sun is everywhere. I, for one, must remember to take at least a moment everyday to be grateful.

I disagree. The biggest prison is Language and how they'vr made people comfortable with accepting translations and think others are dead when they aren't.
For example, he talked about being righteous and holy.
Well, nobody should want to be holy. If anybody did etymology on that word. It does not have Christian origins or anything of that ilk.
It is Hindu in origin derived from the word "holika," which is a demoness. Don't believe me, look it up.

Worked in the Operating Room for years. A normally developed man has 2 ribs. Many holes in the book. Common sense tells me to expect liars to lie. Even about the Unseen Force & Power. If The Supreme Being empowers vile people common sense thinking should prevail. And questions should follow. Why was this done? What will be the outcome? Is this beneficial ? If yes, to whom? Why, why, why questions are sensible. I have not benefitted from trusting oppressors. Someone who doesn't treat me right won't teach me right.

Besides, if you can show a better way of life to those you love, why would you not want to share? As for tithing, it’s really an Old Testament requirement of the Mosaic Law, which was fulfilled by Jesus. So tithing isn’t a requirement, but it should be done. It’s a matter of giving to support the church, missions, community, etc. and not letting money be your ruler. If you think that’s a bad thing, you are entitled to your opinion. 1. King James didn't write the Bible. King James in 1604 approved a new translation of the Bible.
    2. The Geneva Bible is one of the most historically significant translations of the Bible into English, preceding the King James Version by 51 years.
3 The Christianity was in Africa before it was in Europe. It was in Ethiopia to be exact. The Ethiopian Bible is older than the KJV. The KJV is just a translation from one language to the another, but was not the first to translate it into English. No matter the translation, it still says the same thing.
    4. One of the reason why the slave master never wanted their slaves to learn how to read, was because they would've found out they were being manipulated with the one thing that was meant to set them free. Even God's people were enslaved, so don't think we are the only.
    5. This would have opened the slaves eyes if they could have read it: Exodus 21:16 And he that steals a man, and sells him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.
Slavery in the Bible in the beginning; that God condoned, was not chattel slavery which is also mentioned in EXODUS 21. Slavery was considered a way to pay off debt. Please Read

“Abraham wanted to kill his own son.”? No he didn’t, which is why it was a test of faith and obedience, and it was clearly stated as such. If you are a Slaver, you will view the bible from that viewpoint. If you are religious, you try to use it for that purpose. To all unrighteous uses, it is about control over someone else. To the righteous, it’s about control over one’s self to attain a required level of spirituality while in your physical form, to achieve spiritual salvation as defined by our CREATOR, via his mercy. This gentleman used the term Creator and he said that people should live righteously. Doesn’t the scriptures? He called the Scriptures a “slave bible” in contrast to Egyptian religious practices, which I’m gathering he prefers. But the Scriptures clearly state that the “truth shall make you free.”, doesn’t it? Slave book or freedom book…It’s YOUR choice how you want to see it. Just know that whichever you choose, is what is in your heart. So know your heart before you take in the word of another that has already chosen his own way. Blessings

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

The bible speaking slavery is about the sin sick soul of man that is a slave to sin. The bibles clear that their is eternal life and eternal death. Do this man also understand the kingdom of darkness. Essentially the bible is given mankind revelation of the spiritual warfare that human is up against. The enemy of man is the devil. Dating is an unlicensed marriage. It's rare that something good comes out of this set up. Dating was taught & normalized by psychotic people & given to the masses. Now look. Unmarried females thinking & behaving like "wives". Unmarried males acting like "husbands". Chaotic entanglements. So dating non- Blk males or Blk males shows mental instability not recovery of long-term abuse.

    Gnostic Perspective
In Gnostic belief systems, the material world is often seen as a flawed creation, and salvation is achieved through gnosis, or spiritual knowledge, rather than adherence to conventional religious doctrines. Some Gnostic texts suggest that the concepts of Heaven and Hell are part of the illusion created by a lesser deity (the Demiurge) to keep souls trapped in the material world. In this view, Heaven and Hell are not literal places but symbolic representations of spiritual states or conditions.

Those stories and concepts in the bible come from sumeria and egyptian teachings & stories. And were copied a little here and a little there to make that bible. Yall dont know, but The OLDEST "religious" text in modern history, comes from Ancient Egypt. Egypt, had golden idols (zoomorphic & anthropomorphic) that they literally deified, they had prayers/spells scrolls to communicate to deites, they had exclusive temples that common people couldn't enter... and their priests were intermediaries between common people & the golden deites... with that historical proof means... he dont know and/or dont understand those golden images behind him.😂😂😂
Majority of Christian, Jewish, & Muslim beliefs & practices can easily be traced back to the city of Amarna, Alexandria, Heliopolis, Luxor, and the temple complex at Karnak.

Instead, what he is saying is " because there was some manipulation, then everything else has no value." Then he goes on to posit that the truth is whatever we think it is. 😂 That's wild. God promises salvation to all who call on Him. The Bible pacifying slaves really? Who has the time and energy to produce such a work to keep a minority of people quiet. Romans and Greeks wrote scriptures? If they did they condemned themselves to eternal punishment which would never happen. I pray that this professor comes to know God and His word. He’s definitely and outsider trying to prove the Bible has no weight to insiders.
    God is real find Him.

Truth, there is no Hell, there is only the rebirth for certain individuals, for those unworthy of the resurrection there is the eternal void, the space between life and death, between time and space, the realm of nothingness and the infinite repeating cycle of an event in the unworthy’s life, what people like to call a residual haunting or ghost sightings

The word slave is used about 1100, times. The reason you don't see it in the king James version is because they translated slave to servant. Don't believe me ,Google the word slave in the old testament using Hebrew as the language.

"African religion"? Is that Senegalese, Ethiopian, Congolese or Nigerian?
