I appreciate the slow and serious approach. Most FFXIV guides are zoomers talking fast over loud music and making the same corny jokes. I wish there were more videos like this one.
love these guides. Clear and concise. Some guides are just too quick and don't explain thing in enough detail. these are the sort of guides i need. more in-depth.

This guide totally helped me get through this raid im not scared if it anymore lol precise details and explanation those pause and indicator in the video finally made it more clear. Thank you so much!
Late I know but one thing about the Forgall fight regarding Necropurge, standing in the puddles will NOT inflict the debuff itself, the puddles will explode once the cast time is up inflicting stacks of Zombification for each puddle you were in range of, so when you see him casting Mega Death you need to stay standing in the puddle till it bursts
@@MicaDoesStuff Sorry, I wasn't specific! At 13 minutes in, you mention The Summoned Haagenti can cast Mortal Ray, it sounded like you said that's a 'doom timer'. I might have misunderstood you though.
@@ErinKlassen from my understanding in the video the red eye (mortal ray) will put a doom timer on you unless you face your character away. Usually doom it is not curable so I don't think it would be in this fight.
@@zachy888 Thank you for your reply. I am new enough to the game that I have only encountered Doom twice. Once in the Sunken Temple of Qarn, where doom is cured by stepping on a specific tile and the Wanderers Palace (hard) where healing to 100% cures it. I appreciate your help with clarification on this version of Doom. :-)

Do you mean the Forgall attack Megadeath? If so, no. You need to just get 1 stack of gradual zombiefication to survive.

@@ErinKlassen Yes, he will inflict you with doom if you are facing him. But it can be dispelled with esuna. Sorry I missed that in the vid.
