I’m debating on getting a 450 but I’m skeptical of over heating in trails do you not have those problems?
I never had a issue with it over heating. I’d say it will only over heat if you lug it all day long and don’t ever open it up. Get a set of oversized radiators or a fan with a toggle switch and install them if you ride slower just to be safe!
Do u stand up while riding this fast or sit down? Or a combo (eg sitting on corners) cheers

A mixture of both but mainly hovering above the seat unless I’m hitting ruts hard or trying to put a lot of pressure onto the rear tire
Is this bike way faster than a YFZ450? I have been looking into the YFZ450, because I had a yz450F like 6 years ago and it was so fun, but I kinda want 4 wheels.
They’re definitely faster than the yfz450. The yfz450 is slow as heck on top end compared to a 450 dirt bike in my opinion. Race quads are all torque

I’ve rode a few of my friends 450’s for about a total of 2 hours and don’t have any motorcycle experience prior and I just took a kx450f on a trade. Hopefully I don’t kill myself boys

got a 2020 honda 450rx and it to is to fast for trail riding, or maybe just to fast for me lol. i recommend everyrone get a 250 or smaller for trail riding depending on your size. i am 5ft 5 175 lbs. gonna look at a 250f from honda for just poking around. But man the 450s do fly!
I had a yz250f shortly after this video and I have to say it was PERFECT for trail riding!
I wish i had a diffrent right hand some times😢 after like 10 minuits my thumb just cramps up so bad dont matter if its a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke a pit bike or a enduro my thumb just dont like it anymore when i ride without gloves its better but my hand slips of the throttle from time when its wet or swetty
Sounds like you could benefit from a good side by side if you wanna get out and ride. They’re so fun but sadly they’re expensive
@@WheelieWeasel im only 27 just have to hang on an push through the pain i might try a half twist throttle an see if that helps maybe my wrist is just in the wrong position
@catalickconverta6823 your wrist or thumb shouldn’t hurt while riding so I’d say it’s safe to say it’s something else. I’ve ridden for 8hrs straight with minimal stops and the only soreness in my wrist was from falling over a few times lol.
I’d definitely go to the dr and let them know about it and see what they say
@@WheelieWeasel yeah man i think i may have bad blood circulation cuz when it hurts ill roll along an shake my hand about forcing blood back into my hand which helps alot i dont race i trail ride and just ride enduro style places with a mix of everythingn
suspension wants to jump every small bump. that is not design for wood riding.

great video, but for some reason 1080p looks like 360 at best.
It’s because GoPro has trouble making the video stabilized and high resolution in low light levels. I record 4k, edit in 4k and render the video in 4k at a high bit rate and my pc is more than capable of handling the editing so that could be the only issue for you.
I’ve seen the video multiple different times in 4k on many different devices and it definitely looks better than 360p lol have to be your device you’re watching it on. I’ve seen it in my grandpas iPhone 7 all the way up to my pc and series S Xbox. At 360p the renthal on the bars would barely be able to be read lol

You’ve clearly don’t watch much GoPro clips because GoPros literally make EVERYTHING look small or slow. 4ft off the ground would be at my chest, not 1ft or so above my head
You didn't jump off at 6 ft. N look at it. It's not over your head. 6 to 8 ft. It's not even tp to ur head sitting on bike. But u can think ur a big boy

Also you don’t understand how FOVs on cameras work. This gopro runs on superview which is a wide angle lens that distorts the view to make things easier for looking at. Like I said gopro makes everything look small and slow.

Gotta think my GoPro isn’t on the top of my head lmao it’s on my chin with a mount that makes it hang low. The GoPro isn’t eye level so stop using the GoPro as a measurement for where my head is. Obviously it’ll hang lower and make it look like it’s shorter than it is.
So fast it cant win Finke XD XD XD, But im still buying a 2021 WR450F and uncorking it lol Yamaha make a great machine, i want a KTM 500 EXC-F but god dam if im paying $19,000 for a bike im gonna bang up lol, $8000 is more than enough.
I’d love to have one of those newer wr450s they’re awesome! But I do agree those ktm500s are so nice but almost $20k why not just buy a car at that point 😂😂
@@WheelieWeasel yeah Toby price and David Walsh have been dominating the Finke Desert race in Australia on them KTMs. I used to have a ktm 380 exc 2 stroke and dam was it a beast to try tame. Was exhausting trying to hold on it just wanted to wheelie and shoot out from underneath you. Also Great Video mate. Watched the entire thing.

Using a closed competition race bike for trail riding is dumb. They make bikes specifically for that.
Commenting on a video just to complain is dumb. Anyway why would I get a slow trail bike just to ride trails when I ride fast? I’ve rode for 17 years, a trail bike is not what I need nor want. And don’t say “A Honda 450rx is a trail bike and they’re not slow”
The yz250x, yz250fx, yz450fx, crf250x, crf250rx, crf450x, crf450rx etc… they’re all meant for woods riding and they’re IDENTICAL to their motocross counterparts. The only difference is a wider range transmission, sometimes a heavier fly wheel and a more mellow throttle.
I don’t want a XR, KLX or a DRZ or anything along those lines lol. I’ll ride what I want and that’s it 🤷🏻♂️ don’t like it don’t watch
@WheelieWeasel Well I've ridden and raced for over 30 years. I personally use 450X 's. And I've the Tacate and Baja on them. They're very easy to mod.
@lw3918 I’m just 21 so I cant have the experience you have however I have had 3 crf450x, a 07, 10 and a 12 model. The engine is almost identical to the CRF450r of the same year models so they’re technically a motocross bike except They’re stupid heavy compared to any other 450 I’ve had but they’re so fun and reliable however they’re carbed unless you get a brand new one and even when you do that you’re just buying a motocross bike with wider range gearing and a bunch of extra added weight.
If you want a light and fast bike just buy a motocross bike and add things to make it fit you better. If you want something heavy and reliable get a older X model
@WheelieWeasel Tho '07 was my favorite. When you grow up you'll understand what I'm talking about. A motocross bike for offroad is dumb. Especially with all the choices out there now.

I don’t get a bike to keep, I get a bike to ride for a month while putting it through multiple different kinds of riding styles so getting one specifically for trail riding wouldn’t be any good for the content I’m making.
The goal is to have rode 1 of every bike I can get my hands on. I’ve had every mainstream trail bike there is with exceptions to brand new bikes or very rare bikes. Since I’ve been doing TH-cam I’ve had 47 different bikes that I can think of right off.
To quantify it I’ve had at the very least 1 of every bike I’m about to mention.
I’ve had multiple of each CRF bike, Xr50, xr70, xr80, xr100, xr200, xr250r, xr250l, xr600r, xr650r, xl75 (yes the 70s model bike), cr60, cr85, cr125, cr250, pw50, ttr90, ttr110, ttr125, ttr225, ttr230, yz85, yz125, yz250, yz250f, yz450f, yz450fx, yz400f, yz426f, wr400f,klx110, klx125, klx250, klr650, kx65, kx80, kx85, kx100, kx125, kx250, kx250f, kx450f, drz110, drz125, rmz250, rmz450 and tons of other bikes.
