*To all those people who are confused, the guy in the black shirt is trying to push his partner away. See how he always catches his boyfriend whenever he dives at him or leans towards him shows that he is supportive of his partner but whenever the blonde guy is trying to get him to open up or the moment they get too close, the guy in the black shirt pushes him away. Which translates into trust issues and low self esteem which makes him think that his partner is better off without him (which happens in a lot of relationships) but they hug in the end and stay at the same table indicating that they made it through.*
The end table scene leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Like nothing was actually resolved- they’ll repeat the cycle. The black shirt guy just pulled away way too fast for any improvement..
@@dumbasheck4666 I know from being a part of LGBT community that he pushes his partner away because some people in society hate on them and if he's like me and self conscious and doesn't want any harm to befall his beloved. It's wrong but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Some opinions cost others happiness.
I don’t think you have to be apart of the LGBT+ community to recognise the saddening, common truth about some queer relationships however there is no actual proof within the dance to suggest your idea- I do like it though. I just think the dance expresses a lot about trying open up and trusting, etc, just like within all relationships. I think it’s powerful when people use LGBT+ people to demonstrate ordinary/non restricted stories so that anyone can relate to them- not just other LGBTs. Helps people relate and become more aware of how similar everyone just is
I couldn’t believe how well they fit together, it’s almost as if they were made for each other, like, how can both of them give off such intense masculinity and delicacy while flowing the way they do?
I will never understand why people continue to believe that romantic love between two men is revolting. There's literally no difference between the love these two men share and the love between a man and a woman.

That would be a difference in relationship. What the original post said was 'no difference between the love'. Your race, ethnicity, religion and gender don't influence how much you love someone or the bond that you share.
That's Kent Boyd, and he's the most amazing, and hilarious dance teacher in the world. Whenever him and Brooke are in the same room it creates this feeling that makes me laugh SO hard. Once Kent told us that Brooke was the weirdest and then everyone told Brooke that he said that. Then Kent walks in a few mins later and Brooke says, "They told me you said I was weirder? Is that true?" And Kent's face was so funny we all just burst out laughing. Then they had a "Battle of the Weird" it was so funny and you would've had to be there to know just how great it was.

This is why I love two guys or two girls dancing together: there are no predetermined "roles" and both partners are equal. Come to think of it, that's also what I love about same sex relationships
I think we look at it the wrong way. In every relationship the partners are equal, we just need to find a balance. Also, preterditermined roles are disappearing because of the society changes and how we see each other As an example, I am attracted to "feminine" looking men, as a woman, which destroys the stereoptype. I think the video speaks about the frustration of wanting to love someone but knowing you can't. And I think it portrays the inner struggle between both parties in the situation. Where the blond guy was the one desperately wanting to fix or achieve the love he desired while the other guy struggled with what his heart wanted and what his mind wanted. It was a beautiful depiction of love not about homosexuality

I am back and this is still my favourite dance piece I've ever seen. I am so moved and heartbroken. The way they are never stable unless they are touching. The aching way they fall and cling to each other its so desperate and passionate, only for them to push each other away again, forced apart.
This dance has such emotion in it, with each move, each push and pull it just tugs at your heart strings. There is a distinct chemistry between the two dancers, they are perfectly in sync. You would almost guess Kent and Will are in a relationship, seemingly knowing one another's moves so well. This really shows some true talent and hard work!
This was absolutely stunning! Dance is a language that crosses and breaks down barriers. This was a piece that proves it. Bravo to the dancers for giving a physical life to the song. Bravo to DanceOn for letting me be a witness of this work of art. And a big thank you to the X Ambassadors for creating such an amazing song that can touch and break through barriers, whatever they may be.

I’m not a dancer, not by a long shot, but I love watching videos of dancing. I’ve probably watched hundreds, thousands over the years. I don’t think I’ve EVER watched a video with two men being intimate, and I love this so much. I love the pure emotion and trust these two dancers have. I love the dancing itself. It’s beautiful.
I've never watched a dance that has made me wonder how it must feel to do it until this video. The emotion, the moves, the trust. I wish I could know how they feel swirling around in perfect unity like that. What must be going through their minds. Beautiful.
y'all when it starts with Lin Manuel Miranda quotes it's good 👌 but I also really appreciate this so much, bc both men played the "male" and "female" roles and that's cool this is cool
AsuuulKZ basically in dance the traditional way was male role is the lead and the female is the submissive in this both men take turns being the lead and the submissive partner
Same sex dance, a quote from Lin-Manuel Miranda, a beautiful song, and a tribute to the brothers and sisters we lost in Orlando? This video is absolutely beautiful.
I can't express how happy I am to see a same sex dance! And it shows me that there is still hope and still some decency in this world where so many terrible things happen ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I absolutely love this. I’ve replayed it so many times, it’s become an obsession. Despite the tragic storyline, you see so much trust between the two dancers throughout the whole video. There is absolutely no apprehension in any of the jumps or lifts. And it’s so freakin passionate!! Their expressions and the emotions in the movement was so incredible ❤️❤️
This brought me to tears because it is so beautiful and it has so much meaning. If anyone is questioning their sexuality or gender, never be afraid to talk to others because there are so many people out there who support you, please never give in to bullying or negativity. I went through it as well, I am gender fluid and gay but I never let others put me down because I am proud of who I am. I love you all.
I'm in a long distance relationship with someone. we're both trans (ftm) but he hasn't come out to his parents. He lives in a trans phobic house and everyday I'm terrified if he's ok. I just want to be there for him, and know he's ok. I want to wipe the tears away when he breaks down, tell him he's safe when he gets scared. I want to be able to just care for him. But I can't, and it tears me apart. At the end of the video when they're just holding each other, I lost it. To most people it seems normal, but to me it's something I fear I may never get to experience. To be able to be held in someone's arms that you love with all of your being, is truly a magical thing.
I think a lot of people take for granted the pleasure of touching someone you love so deeply just being physically in there presence is an amazing, beautiful thing.
I have a very minor understanding of how you feel friend. My best friend if mtf (is that how you put it? I’m still trying to learn.) and she came out to me last year. I’ve been doing my best to support her, but she doesn’t live in the best house and her dysphoria paired with her other problems have driven her to terrible things. We can all make it through though. I believe it because I have to
why, you're the one who made the music, or the video was made for you? I'm heterosexual, that doesn't mean I can't feel strongly in front of it. Your sexual preferences have nothing to do with anything here. Sorry if it comes harsh, but I'm tired of seeing people relate to videos or stuff because of their sexuality. You are bisexual SO you are honored ? it sounds like without your preferencies, this music and/or video wouldn't mean anything to you.
Actually this music and video can mean a lot to me. I have heard the song many times before this video. I can relate to it however I would like it is special to me and you have no place to tell me how it can't be. There is way more meaning then my sexuality for this song to me and I'm sorry if I affended you in anyway but, you need to calm down because that was so rude of you and, I am not saying you can't feel strongly about it I was talking about how the video is coming off to me and that is how I saw it! KeroRDJ
XxNicolexX _Miranda_ well if it came rude I'm sorry. you were indeed talking about yourself, wich obviously includes your personal experiences. It is your "so" that I didn't agree with, as if only a specific kind of person could feel honored in front of it. I realise this is not what you meant and that I expressed myself poorly, and I apologize for it
Cause most heteros are primitive heartless beings, once people realize in the future gays have been around for a million more years, then maybe they will get it, we are still here and gays havent detroyed a thing....
I haven't even watched the video yet but the Lin-Manuel Miranda quote threw me off. I mean Lin is Lin is Lin is Lin... because *L I N* Edit: I just watched the video... and wow. I have no word. I'm literally speechless. It's just... perfect. Every aspect of it
I'm like a massive Lin fan and I love this song, plus I saw the thumbnail and was like oOoh, then I saw the quote and full-on was like this is my fav video now
I can't stop watching. The song alone speaks to so many, especially at this moment in time, but that choreography is beyond! As a gay man, I thank you for showing a story about and with two men in a lyrical form. So rare. Thank you

I've never watched a dance that has made me wonder how it must feel to do it until this video. The emotion, the moves, the trust. I wish I could know how they feel swirling around in perfect unity like that. What must be going through their minds. Beautiful.
y'all when it starts with Lin Manuel Miranda quotes it's good 👌
but I also really appreciate this so much, bc both men played the "male" and "female" roles and that's cool
this is cool
Cassidy Sharp what do you mean
AsuuulKZ basically in dance the traditional way was male role is the lead and the female is the submissive in this both men take turns being the lead and the submissive partner
This was the most beautiful thing I've seen all year. ❤💜💚💙💛
The best moment 1:47
That was JUST WOW
They have great connetion ❣
The definition if trust is 1:48-1:50
This is breaking norms and im so happy happy to see it im in love
Their expressions and dancing show so much emotion and I am freaking *crYING IN MY BATHROOM FOR HOW POWERFUL THE MAIN IDEA IS FOR THIS VIDEO*
Same sex dance, a quote from Lin-Manuel Miranda, a beautiful song, and a tribute to the brothers and sisters we lost in Orlando? This video is absolutely beautiful.
So are we just not gonna talk about the catch at 1:49?
Ned Fire YES!!! I thought the same, I love this part ❤
Ned Fire the part were the 👍 bottom appears 😍
Ned Fire i'm definitely talking about it
It’s fucking perfect
My breath caught in my throat like whoa....
I was barely hanging on until the end. The hug, that last little desperate cling they had with each other. I have no words. This was awe inspiring.
can we talk about 1:49 ?!!
I almost got a heart attack, that was amazing
@@hsojuu same
guaranteed if i tried that with anyone theyd let me fall cuz thats scary as hecc
Yes please
I can't express how happy I am to see a same sex dance! And it shows me that there is still hope and still some decency in this world where so many terrible things happen ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I absolutely love this. I’ve replayed it so many times, it’s become an obsession.
Despite the tragic storyline, you see so much trust between the two dancers throughout the whole video. There is absolutely no apprehension in any of the jumps or lifts.
And it’s so freakin passionate!! Their expressions and the emotions in the movement was so incredible ❤️❤️
I appreciate art when i see it, and I definitely appreciate this! The movements are incredible!
their dance evokes so much emotion. amazingly talented
This just suddenly appeared on my recommendations, clicking it was such a good idea the intimacy and flow of this is just beautiful and I am in awe
If you don't mind me asking, how are things going with you and him?
best of luck to you and your boyfriend (if you’re still together, i don’t know much abt the circumstances of your relationship)!
I believe it because I have to
When he picked him up and just held him at the end😩😩😍💕!!!
I am bisexual so I am honored to see this
why, you're the one who made the music, or the video was made for you?
I realise this is not what you meant and that I expressed myself poorly, and I apologize for it
I accept your apology thank you KeroRDJ
THEY BETTER BE MARRIED!! so much passion was put into this. I'm shook
They must trust each other so much and the emotions... my heart ... no words
I love this. I hate it when people give gay people a hard time. You can't stop love. It is a real force to be reckoned with. #LoveisLove
Cause most heteros are primitive heartless beings, once people realize in the future gays have been around for a million more years, then maybe they will get it, we are still here and gays havent detroyed a thing....
It looks like they're fighting but can't help being in love and it's beautiful.
No matter what, that last moment where they're holding each other and just breathing... It always makes me tear up
(whispers)...that was f***ing awesome. 😳
I've never seen any dance this beautiful.
I haven't even watched the video yet but the Lin-Manuel Miranda quote threw me off. I mean Lin is Lin is Lin is Lin... because *L I N*
Edit: I just watched the video... and wow. I have no word. I'm literally speechless. It's just... perfect. Every aspect of it
I'm like a massive Lin fan and I love this song, plus I saw the thumbnail and was like oOoh, then I saw the quote and full-on was like this is my fav video now
Wait what quote
This was the most amazingly beautiful thing I've ever watched
i liked this song the moment i saw Lin's quote
Jamie Bazeley same
Love the Lin reference
I've never seen something more beautiful then this. I'm completely in love with this video. A piece of art.
Incredibly beautiful and powerful. And the technique ? Stunning. Thank you for your art
I can't stop watching. The song alone speaks to so many, especially at this moment in time, but that choreography is beyond! As a gay man, I thank you for showing a story about and with two men in a lyrical form. So rare. Thank you
The amount of trust and balance in this piece is beautiful
You know it's going to be a good video when the first thing you see is a quote from Lin Manuel Miranda.
I don't know but watching this makes me cry. The emotion portray by both artists you can genuinely feel it. 😍
One of the most powerful songs for so many reasons. And I love every single one of them.
I don't care if it's two boys, the dance made me cry.
loved the Lin quote at the beginning ❤️
Six years later and I still cry at how intimate this is!
How did I watch this ONLY NOW?? AMAZING!
