Rust cohle is more of a constructive realist than an putright pessimist he has a really geounded and real perspective of the world around him, wothout any deceit in his heart
But it could very well be due to his profession and the things he has seen including the dark and extremely twisted of human minds. Yes many of the things he has said are damn right and can be considered as rational and realistic( as he consider himself to be), it does make me curious how much of his perspective of reality was influenced due to the events he faced in his life. Maybe sometimes there isn't much difference between a realist and a pessimist!

It single handedly brought the rating of true detective to 9.3 on IMDB later on 2nd and 3rd season brought the downfall of true detective (currently at 8.9) ... But even GOT and breaking bad season 1 were not as great as this one .... True fan of this crime thriller

Yes, fundamental forces came in existence and everything started taking different forms. But WHY those forces came in existence in the first place? What was the need, the reason? We may come to know about or predict things about "what happened for the creation of universe?" or "how all of this came in existence?" but we never think that much about "just WHY all of this exist?" There must be an answer to this WHY.
