    You’d have to do it for me, I’d lose my spot in a heartbeat! Lol 😂. However the design is amazing when finished! Thank you!♥️♥️

    In your finished pieces you have three of them, what size rings did you use for each?

      We do not have the sizes listed for these designs. You can use almost any size jump ring depending on your preference. You will just need to make sure that you have larger and smaller jump rings to use in order to get the flexibility in the finished piece. If you are looking for more chainmaille resources, you can find them here: www.firemountaingems.com/learn/categories/chainmaille-resources.html
      Thanks for watching!

    Once you do the first section (which is done by yourself....how do you continue T.I.A.

    • @FireMountainGems
      @FireMountainGems  ปีที่แล้ว

      You will keep repeating the same pattern. Since each section is a different color, if you were to continue where this tutorial ends (5:20), you could repeat the steps shown in the video from 2:09 - 3:54. You would put the large ring through one of the existing teal rings and then add another teal ring (slide that new ring down the bottom). Then put another large ring through the other existing single teal ring and also through the double teal rings on the other side and add another teal ring before closing it up. Then the third large ring would go through the two teal rings on the other side that doesn't have a large ring yet. Hope this helps!

    Can this weave be integrated into scale maille patterns or just chainmail?

    • @FireMountainGems

      Depending on the size and shape of the scalemaille components, it would most likely need to be modified to work for scalemaille. Here is a link to another video tutorial for scalemaille and washermaille: th-cam.com/video/18k_PgTYM1o/w-d-xo.html

    Beautiful work! Do you ever solder the rings? Do some rings come apart without soldering?

    • @FireMountainGems
      @FireMountainGems  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes. It's a personal preference.
