History has shown that The Raiders lose games that we should absolutely win. When they announced the benching of Young and The Red Rifle was starting, I instantly felt the trap game vibe. Perice needs to hunker down and get the team to not overlook the Panthers. GO RAIDERS!!!!

@@Caspet78 It's one of the better ones. The only reason teams score as much as they have is because we let up in the 4th quarter. The scores between the first 3 quarters in the last two games combined is 25 points, compared to 20 points in total in the 4th quarter. The only reason defense doesn't stop more is because our offense keeps them on the field.

That’s not this team though. McDaniels was an egotistical clown, he didn’t have his team ready because he probably thought it would be an easy win, not to mention the players didn’t believe in him. AP will have this team locked in no matter the opponent.

Raiders have to win the games they are supposed to win...if the raiders win this game it will be very telling, because in recent years raiders would lose this type of game ie...baker mayfield and the rams. Last week win from the ravens was BIG because normally on the road close game playing from behind, they wouldve folded like a chair....getting this win,stacking some wins will go along way. we know about the inconsistencies from last season. They do good one game then its a different team the next game. As long as the O line can block I think we can score points.

The Raiders need to win convincingly.
Carolina is averaging 74 yards rushing per game and conversely are giving up 200 yards rushing per game. Panthers are 🗑️ on both sides of the line of scrimmage. They have lost 10 straight on the road. 27 -6 Raiders.

TBH, after more than 54 years of being a RAIDERS fan, this team rarely beats up on anyone, at least not by design from the outset. This team can’t assume anything at anytime. The team must be coached hard. My hope is AP knows that and has his staff in the ears of the players prepping them for the situations ahead….

Agreed. My take is look for Carolina to come out running and quick passes. If they are successful doing that look for them to try to open it up and push the ball down the field. If we can stop the run and our CB's are on point we should have the advantage. Also, like Sanjit said, if our offense comes out and plays like they did at the end of the Ravens game we should be able to put up points. Mark my words, the Panthers WILL come out fired up. Mingo was drafted too early. But I Loved Leggette coming out of college. He gon turn into a legit WR2. Carolina definitely has some ballers. But they stripped down their defense. Sent their best CB to Pittsburgh amd sent their best pass rusher to New York. I definitely believe our defense can contain their offense. But Our offense on the other hand HAS TO be consistent. Nomatter what, we have to put up +24 points. Even if it's a shutout, we need 24 or more.
Bruh, going against a 3-4 base defense, we shouldn't have any problem running the ball. Whether is power OR zone. If we can average 3-4 ypc, our offense will have success.

On the Game Opener On any given Sunday any team can win. I predict were going to power run with Zeus we will be successful soring a TD first drive. Our defense will not hold Dalton the Red headed rifle. They will tied it up 7-7 in first quarter. Minshew will start passing in 2nd quarter we sore again. Were up 10 to 7 in first half. Getsey will open the Offense up the passing game in second half it going to be a shoot out game. In third quarter Raiders go up 17 - 10 . In 4th quarter they tied it up 17-17. Who sores next wins this game. Carlson will get a chance to make the winning field goal at 55 yards if he misses it's Dalton turn who gets the Panthers in field goal range to win? It's going to be a tough game to win. Carlson at 55 yards hope the pressure maybe to much he should make it if he don't think of missing it. Then the good thing AP tells Carlson we believe in you can make it Mr. Cultch. Carlson determine to make it kicks it straight and long. It looks Good!
