I like the episode where you and the girls have a sleepover and Shia lebeouf and the guys are spying on you and the girls can't remember the name of the episode christy
I feel kinda sad there was never a crossover of Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire. I think it would've been so cool if Lizzie and Ren could become friends and Matt and Louis could become partners in crime working together to prank their older sisters!
Really? The only thing that I remembered from this episode was the creepy kid asking for a human being in exchange for a trading card 😂😂😂 mini me was disturbed
@@monicacarranco8525 i suppose they're in the limelight so they're more recognized for it. but not just them ofc. also, i didn't realize the original comment said "early 20s" which mustve meant "now" which i didn't realize when saying "it's in style now" in my comment before this one. just a little note lol.
Hey Christy. Thank you for bringing nostalgia back. I love your channel. I think an Even Stevens cast zoom reunion would be awesome. Hopefully it can happen.
I am now 62 years old and have very fond memories of watching your show with my daughters who at the time were around 9 and 11. I wasn’t just “watching” Even Stevens with my kids, I truly enjoyed the show! To this day we still quote some of the lines from your show! 😁
I actually think it's really sweet that you see the set of the show as your "school" 😂 it's funny what sticks with us doing those weird middle-school-aged years.
It's so funny you were talking about skin breakouts as a teenager because I've been rewatching a lot of videos Lisa Foiles (from All That) has made and in one she talks about how her mother said something along the lines of how much she wished Lisa's skin was like yours when they saw you on a red carpet once. XD
Funny enough, my high school principal used to use that "Good better best!" motto as her catchphrase and would say it after morning announcements. I didn't realize your character had said this until now lol!!
4:12-4:24 WHAT?!?! Your 16th birthday IN that episode (both you AND your character at the same time)?!?!!? That IS crazy, AND awesome as well!!! An EVEN (pun intended, I guess) BETTER way to celebrate it for you (and whom I mentioned earlier, of course)!!!! Probably should have known that sooner at that time, don't you think? Man, that is just AWESOME!! By the way, you do have a lot of makeup on in there, and it looks real good on you.
I remember hearing that & being taught that in school! Except it was, “Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better & your better is your best.” I like the cadence of it better.
Its so surreal to have you comment on episodes I saw as a kid when we're all adults in present time, my mind is BLOWN! haha. My older sister and I had similar dynamic to Res and Louis as well! I'm really enjoying your channel, Christy! P.S. Love you as Yuffie, too :P
I'm noticing that as I watch this I have this constant doofy smile on my face and I'm even tearing up a little. I really can't help it, that's the power of these shows from childhood, especially this one. It really made brought me so much joy as a kid and still does! Thanks Christy!!!
I distinctly remember seeing this episode and thinking "This is my favorite show" right off the bat. Ren Stevens and Hermione Granger where my academic heroes 😆
I just recently discovered your channel and I absolutely love it, it gives me that nostalgia factor and I remember being a kid watching Kim Possible and Even Stevens and just laughing so much, thanks for those good memories lol
I'm actually binge watching this show right now and I just watched this episode. I watched this show growing up (of course, like every other 90s kid did) and it's just so good.
Oh man I remember watching this for the first time in summer 2000 and the vibe of this show felt as if I went to middle school with these characters at the time haha. I hope you do more of this!
Hi Christy, I just read an article about an essay about your experience growing up, and growing up as a child star and all the things you had to overcome, including jealousy- something that I struggle with, too. I especially struggle with comparing myself to others, something that upon reading the article, I realized that is an issue for me. It was inspiring reading the article about the essay. Thank you for being transparent. I know it isn't easy to discuss or even want to discuss struggles but I appreciate it very much. It's nice to know that I'm not so different from celebrities. Thank you.
The early 2000's was a weird time in my life. I had just came home from a sunmer of two brain surgeries and 33 radiation treatments. It was great coming home to East Kentucky and discovering Disney had new shows. Even Steven's and Lizzie McGuire, which I ended up having crushes on both the lead female roles of both shows.
Episode 1 came out and immediately I wanted to be funny like Louis and I had a crush on Ren, but selling out your sister for a card never sat well with me, haha. But the brother/sister dynamic often felt real, both of you guys did a great job. Also my parents got me the same picture of Kramer that Louis had and I still have it, haha.
I remember loving this show as a kid but I don't remember much about it. The only thing I remember is someone was giving instructions and asked if there were any questions and Louis said, "I have one. If a chicken had lips, could it whistle?" I used to say that ALL the time as a kid.
Even Stevens is currently my quarantine binge watch show and I'm loving it. I just got to the musical episode and I remember being in grade 5 in elementary school and not knowing the word "period" meaning a class. Idk I don't think we even used that term when I was in middle and high school. But anyways, I thought it was hilarious.
I love hearing stories that went on behind the scenes of these shows we grew up with. You just have so much more insight on what's going on. I love when you react to your shows.
Honestly, out of all the shows in the 2000s. This show definitely aged the best. From the soundtrack, intro, to the comedy. This show could have been a stand alone sitcom show. With or without disney, this show would have been a sucess. That's how good it was and how talented you guys were. Good luck trying to find a once in a generation talent like Shia at his age at that time. Man I miss this show

That “Good, better, best” line has been engrained in my mind all these years….I’m pretty sure I’ve even used it with my kid 😂. Such great memories, and you’re wonderful 💕
One of my favorite shows as a kid! I loved the last episode where Louis finally reveals his feelings for Tawny! But also loved the Stevens Manor episode!
Ahh Even Stevens I always loved watching the show when I was kid I would always come visit my grandma and watch the show alot on Disney Channel with my brother and sister and I'm glad I rewatched the whole show on Disney+
I am taking a break from college this semester, I can’t wait to rewatch all these old shows. I remember I loved Even Stevens, but not the show it’s self. then again I was 4 when it premiered, so I can give myself slack there.
Plz do this for each episode, loved it 😊 This is one of those episodes I feel is underrated. Because it had big messages that I didn’t recognize at first, wasn’t until I got older when I finally saw those messages. Like for example, that despite louis intentions started bad? He did legit feel guilty and tried to prove it. Also, I used to despise Earnie as a kid. But now I almost feel bad for him, because he’s a good example of someone who thinks he’s doing the right thing but doesn’t realize his mistakes. Sure Earnie did do the photo thing at the end of the episode, but again you still pity him to some level.
I'm finding myself in a throwback kinda moment right now and I'm actually as silly as this may sound, almost in tears right now I'm so happy I found this content. A lot of these shows helped me get through some tough times as a kid, and even now. Thank you
Christy, now this is how Reaction videos should be like IMO. Showing just enough to make me want to watch the actual episode, instead of working as a replacement for the episode. Well done, Christy! 👍😃
The reason we would be watching this video, even though some of us don't know much about the show, is because we want to know what it's like, and because we (especially myself) always like to tune to each and every new video you do each Tuesday and Thursday, no matter what it focuses on.

This should be a recurring series; you watch the 1st episode of a Disney show with a cast member of the show.
Or Nickelodeon.

It would get repetitive for Christy watching it that many times.
We've got "Ren Reacts", "Kim Possible Reacts", and "Christy's Kitchen Throwback"?!!! This is definitely my favorite channel!!!!
It's one of my favorite channels as well.
Right
As a child Even Stevens was my favorite show. Re-watching it as an adult I’ve come to appreciate what a brilliantly written and well acted show it is!
It has the best humor
A lot of the well written shows were around this time in my opinion and weren’t really appreciated by us until now 😂 but better late than never 💯🥴
Shot on film huh? That means it can be remastered in HD if they want to. Get on it disney.
They did an HD upscale for Lizzie McGuire so it could happen
