Last time we were there we had to stop early because we had about 20or30 bull sharks swimming around us. We used all our bang stick shells and they were not leaving so we had to go. Spearfishing with sharks around is really fun and makes your adrenaline go sky high but it sucks when they start checking you out to much and get to close. Keep spearing
Wow! I enjoyed trying to imagine being there, holding my breath, trying to make a good shot on a fish as powerful as a wahoo... So many questions pop into my mind. Sharks! Are they endangered, hard to find? Did you chum to bring in so many wahoo? Looks like the sharks were brought into the wounded wahoo quite a bit. Though I love the purity of that shot at 5:52 where you stone that beauty with a clean headshot, the sequence after about 8:30, reigning in another 60lber, then videoing yourself taking stills of your buddy with his prize is epic. Beatiful video, but here in the Mediterranean fishes know the fishermen very well and they run away as soon as they see us from afar. Fishes are not standing waiting for the harpoons .it's a little bit harder :-)
Really really nice footage, seems like you guys did a great job racking up the Wahoo in the midst of the sharks, had a similar situation with sharks and fish myself. I don't know if it's the angle of the camera but it seemed that you guys were able to get pretty close to the Whaoo, I would think that you would have gotten more KILL shots. Don't take this the wrong way, I wasn't there so I can't judge but you guys did a awesome job.

It's an Omer Aries 45, the camera is a go pro 3+ black. It's mounted on the go pro head strap it wear it under my wetsuit hood.
