​​​​@@zkrings yes and use 3 healing insignia bonuses and you dont really even need a Healer most content. I dont use Smite either and I rarely lose agro. I save my Divinity for 100% R1. I can show you my setup if you want to see it sometime. My Fighter I run Merri's no healer build most of the time.

why fortified nature instead of flash freeze?

Flash Freeze can be good for an AoE build, but not as single target. The bonus relies on rng to proc due to its 20% chance to apply 20% slow and reducing outgoing damage to the target by 5%. Slow doesn't affect bosses, they are immune to control effects.
While Fortified Nature is active during combat and once per second when receiving damage your defense, awareness and deflect increases by 3.6% at Celestial and stacks 5 times. This enchantment was buffed a few patches ago.
