moved here from Sask about 5 months ago, have yet to truly experience the city in depth but I can't complain. Chilliwack has everything a family or independant could ask for in a sense that if you're wanting more shopping/experience wise Vancouver or the Island is a short drive/ferry away. the people are really friendly, copious amounts of hiking/fishing/camping spots. sure it has it's "rough spots" but as do many other areas. I don't see myself heading back to live in the land of the living skies anytime soon. Great video!!!
Thanks for this video. We were thinking to buy our first home in Chilliwack but after the floods have become a little skeptical. What are your thoughts on this?
Don't forget the pig farms it stinks here and allergies are rampant when the cotton woods are blooming and cotton seed flies everywhere, and polin is also bad, you don't want to live around princess ave. and irst. 2nd 3rd 4rth aves. are bad for drug houses. but fairfield and the areas around the outskirts is pretty good. but it is still nice here in Rosedale / Popkim areas except for the farm stink lolol
Here is the truth. Same old roads and real bad traffic almost all the time because too many people moved here. Farm smell int nice when they spread manure. Most of the few lakes here are crowded because many people from Van come here especially on weekends. There are no really nice restaurants here . House prices even here have gone nuts like everywhere and must come down to be affordable. Mostly i hate the traffic there .
I don’t know, Vancouver prices have gone through the roof, seriously double the cost of chilliwack. Thinking of moving there (source: I’m from Vancouver)

Realtors in every city in bc "this city is for outdoors people!"

Thank you for your advice John. And thank you for watching
Chilliwack is the worst of both worlds: city like prices without the city amenities, but with city level homeless and crime
