7:04 That was the 1st MX race I ever saw. Was 9 or 10yrs old, never heard of the sport b4, & just happened to turn the channel & see Doug Henry flying off the screen. I was hooked ever since. 4got all about baseball & soccer & it was all moto ever since. Henry is such a friggin legend! 1 of the toughest riders to ever do it, & such a cool, nice guy too. I raced district 34 in NY, & since he was from New England, we had the pleasure of having him ride open practice at my home track, Walden Playboys (now called Walden MX) from time to time, especially b4 the Nationals at Unadilla. Carlo Cohen (national #69 in the '90's) was a member there too, so every now & then Doug Henry & John Dowd (also from the NE) would come race there & the battles between those 3 were always epic. Great memories. Some of the latest pro's that started as club members at Walden MX are Phil Nicoletti & Justin Barcia.
I remember that race too. I was a huge fan of McGrath ever since he was an amateur on a KX125. That Honda team he was on was unbeatable for so many years. It was amazing to see Henry come back and score the first 4-stroke win in Supercross history at Las Vegas.
Racing 85's back in the day, the leader wrecked right in front of me really bad and the bike landed on him and I ghost rode my bike off the track and, ran over to pull the bike off of him because it looked like the exhaust was laying on his throat. He was alright, few broken bones and couldn't race for a couple seasons but could've ended horribly! I didn't even compete in the remake. Just sat it out after that... Now I don't race these days, but do active search and rescue. Guess it all makes sense looking back lol
Thanks for showing these crashes and concussions. I noticed that for the Mini O's that any time there was a crash this year the camera man would switch to a different section of the track. On the second day they stopped showing the starts because of all the crashes on the starts on the first day. IMO they were trying to sell the sport to soccer moms and dads as more glamorous than it is.
@@441motocross FYI the second day the Mini O's also put an ad over top of the bikes on the start for the Freestone Spring Race...more cover-up (IMO) to portray a kindler gentler sport. (hate to show how brutal it really is when riders will run you over to get ahead of you) Keep up the good work 441!
Poor Doug Henry. He deserves more credit because not only is he paralyzed from this, this is also arguably the most "send it" moment ever, and without any gimmicks.
Getting cooked by the engine or exhaust is brutal, especially after getting tossed by your bike half a second earlier. Def something most people will never know/experience
Ive had my brother blow his knee out bad.....down in the shit.....i was trying to carry him up the trail.....and i heard some voices.....i got him to the top of the trial....and he made a splint to duckt tape on to his knee.....and we road back to trailer and loaded up for emergency. That was at ONION lake...LYTTON BC.
This is why I choose an 85 big wheel and as an adult LOL Even pros get absolutely wrecked occasionally. Bigger the bike, bigger the punishment for your mistakes
I hate to say It but almost everyone I know that doesn't ride dirtbikes is tougher than most dirtbike riders lol overall so stop with the Ego's us riders don't need to say it
F1 has Halo's and they are going full pink unicorn with a bonnet (enclosed cockpit) and skirt (enclosed wheels) just to be safe. Soon kotex will be F1's main sponsor.

I've been trapped under my bike alone in the woods and getting burnt by the exhaust gives you strength you never knew you had
Yikes!! lol That would F'****** suck.....
What part of your body has a pro circuit tattoo now?
"thats when i found out i could bench 400lb"
It's called Adrenaline L o l
That was my homie Colt Nichols. Bad way to end the season right after winning the east coast championship the year prior
441 always bringing the best stuff!!!
This just might be your most brutal crashes vid yet.
Agreed👍

I remember that Doug Henry crash. My step dad used to record all the races on VHS when I was a kid! R.I.P Kevin wayfast Brewer
forkner cannot catch a break man i feel bad for the kid
ikr. its heartbreaking. that kid should have 2-3 championships by now.
:(
Best motocross channel ever
These guys are a different breed, I ride, and I like to think I ride hard. But nothing compared to these legends 🤘
OMG , Doug Henry with the full send over the biggest jump on the track . That was suicidal .
Paralyzed him. I can't remember what they said but some kind of bike malfunction. Worst moto crash ever
@@slikkwell Oh THAT's the crash that paralyzed him? I never looked in to it... I can see it, that was really nasty.
@@slikkwell that isn't the crash that paralyzed him, that was later in 2007, he did break his back though
@slikkwell I belive it was a stuck throttle
The slowmo breakdown of it is absolutely brutal I can’t remember where I saw it though
Jeremy McGrath talking about Doug Henry overjumping and breaking his back. Hardcore.
Henry flew the entire slope ...
Even RC couldn't afford it).

I put a seatbelt on my 450, didn’t seem to help much.
Lol
Doug Henry with full throttle into the stratosphere...what was he thinkin??
thats what i was asking myself. only explainable answer in my head was throttle stuck
Motocross is the MOST GRUESOME SPORT. only those who ride/race know this.I am a former motocross racer.
Poor Doug Henry.

I’m almost certain he was paralyzed in a supermoto accident years later. I’m pretty sure he raced mx again.
8:40 i was the rider behind ashtona ruda who crashed at daytona in the 125c class he broke his leg in that he was fast he even won the heat race
Getting cooked by the engine or exhaust is brutal, especially after getting tossed by your bike half a second earlier. Def something most people will never know/experience
Forkner putting his foot down just before he crashed caused the crash and is what blew his knee out.
3:30 is brutal, looks like the foot peg dragged across him, man that sucks
Dude great thumb nail. Unintentional or intentional it looks like deegan 😅
8:54 this is the best crash I've ever seen. Anyone know who it is?
New Zealand rider, Josh Coppins
Can’t believe there’s a video of morden mb
8:28 mx bikes type physics
Did you forget when Ryan Morais landed on Trey Canard in supercross?
Doug F'n Henry!!
Straight lawn darted him

“no seAt beLts Or RoLL cAges HerE” lol maybe because you don’t have walls flying at you racing wheel to wheel at 280+ kph💀

I remember Macados rag doll crash and Webbs crash on concrete.
I just put it in a gas can and shake the gas can 😅
So funny these clowns 😂
Jumping 800-plus horse Sprint car when you fuck up in one of those you are along for the ride
Wouldn't it be worse to have a seatbelt on a bike tho. Like, it would suck if your strapped to the bike when you crash in the whoops
whats up
that last one.... 😬
forkner só se lasca bixo
Why do you show them on the ground AND THEN then the mistake/crash. I don't like that style editing personally
I hate to say It but almost everyone I know that doesn't ride dirtbikes is tougher than most dirtbike riders lol overall so stop with the Ego's us riders don't need to say it
Please turn the terrible music down man
annoying unecessary trap music
yet another video ruined by the lame bgm with the techno snare that everyone uses.....zero for originality........

@@deathmetaldownhiller7874 I'm just describing how things are. F1 is going full pink unicorn. It's been co-opted by pervs
