THANK YOU BRO! For stepping up and doin a deep dive into BeatHawk inside of BM3. This is EXACTLY what I was thinking when I brought the topic to the FB group.
Great video!... picked up some expansion packs for Beathawk a while back and starting messing around with it in BM3 myself. You def opened up some ideas to try 👍🏾.....no doubt some amazing quality sounds in beathawk!
Took me awhile to appreciate the limitations of producing in Beathawk in standalone mode but also love using it as a plugin in Beatmaker3. UVI library is among the best on iOS. I did a similar tutorial a couple of years ago because I wanted to expand my sound library in BM3
Nice demo. I use BeatHawk a lot these days, but in AUM, and it has more expansion packs than ever, and I think it sounds great. Picked up some good tips here - thanks!
BeatHawk is dope! Definitely underrated, but I think it is getting more noticed now. I actually just started using it a few months ago in BM3. The IAPs are dope! I still would opt for other plugins for some sounds (i.e. Ravenscroft for piano, Neo Souk Keys for electric pianos), but when I need to find some dope horns and strings or world/ethnic sounds, Beathawk is usually my first stop! 🙌🏾
I agree. I still have my go to apps for keys and synths but when I need those kontakt like sounding strings and horns and even the Asian kit sounds this is GOLD!
Bro! Mad Respect for the vid! Crucial Workflow tips, I just upgraded from beathawk to BeatMaker 3 and was wondering if there was a way to effectively use Beathawk with BM3. The Workflow you just demonstrated makes it SOOO seemless!, Beatception Indeed! 🔥🔥🔥 Thanks for taking the time 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Job well done with this one! I didn’t even know Beathawk had those type of quality sounds. On another note: I don’t think I’ve EVER heard you in your orchestral bag... I see you, B!
What’s awesome too if you have “iMPC Pro 2” or “Audio Copy” to be specific, since audio copy is the main store for iMPC and a lot other apps. You could copy whatever you buy in Audio Copy into BeatHawk which is awesome, with all my sounds I have in AudioCopy I have in iMPC pro 2, Beathawk, and Hook And there’s other ones I can’t remember but some support the audio copy paste feature like Beathawk does. So if your tight on money it’ll be a better choice to get from there, being that audio copy is free to download. I haven’t tried but maybe you can save your soundpacks into a wav file too. I do like to have soundpacks from BeatHawk tho
Only this is when is save what I did in beat maker three, and re load what all my beat hawk sounds change. How can I keep the sound from going away when I up load my songs
If you get sound packs for your Beathawk on the iPad, do you have to pay again for the sound packs when you put them on your I phone. They charged me both times.
I actually haven't had any CPU issues but I get a lot of people saying that BM3 crashes for them due to CPU overload. I'm using 2017 10.5 Pro at the moment. But another user pointed out that the built in effects should help take the load off of BM3 but not the overall Device CPU. Hopefully helps to make sessions in BM3 more stable.
This looks really fun? But I might be missing something. Is it me or does it seem redundant, though radical to be using both these apps, one inside the other, if they both have the same functionality. The only benefit that I can see is that obviously it radically increases the available track and banks. But other than that, what is it? Are there some functionalities that one offers that the other lacks? Like for example, beatmakers drum tool, the repeat function, tripplet and stuff, seems exclusive to be beatmaker. Is that it?
Yes Beatmaker 3 servers as more of a traditional DAW of sorts and has much more options available for fine tuning and manipulation of your sounds. Like adding effects or even reversing a pad for example. Beatmaker is essentially a sampler DAW on steroids where BeatHawk just houses the sound libraries and has SOME basic beat loop/ sequencing features.
I'm assuming that if you payed for the app and any of the in app purchases, your purchase grants you license to use the samples and loops freely. Royalties collected from your original composition are yours to keep. Just like any other VST, Auv3 or Plugins.
Of course if you buy a sound library from any company like UVI, it's yours to do whatever you want. I guess it's possible that people can sell sounds that they do not own which could mean problems for. Everyone but reputable people like UVI are professional and I would not worry about any problems. You can always read their small print, but think how ridiculous it would be if you paid for a sound library that you couldn't use for whatever you wanted. Maybe there are crazier things. LOL. Wait, for sure there are crazier things. Donald trump as president, for example.
I must be doing something wrong Everytime I open the beat I saved in BeatMaker I have to change the parts to keys to play the instrument instead of the pads
Nah you're not doing anything wrong. It does that for me too after saving it. Luckily everything is still in tact after saving just having to switch back to the Keys tab in Beathawk can get annoying. I've been looking for a fix for it. I'll keep you updated once I have figure it out. In the meantime I usually just record everything to an audio track once I'm done anyway.
Yeah, that sucks. It is a known issue. Nothing to do with Beatmaker and everything to do with Beathawk. (Within other DAWs the Audio Unit has the same issues.) Hope some day UVI will fix that.
I don't see tutorials on making patterns in beathawk. It has a very deep advanced interface for creating drum patterns using any of those incredible sounds. I agree that as a sound module it's incredible but beathawk is much more. Beathawk is such a great deal especially if you watch for sales on the in apps a few times a year. The packs are not expensive even at the full price because of the quality. Don't forget UVI is the maker of one of the best synths out there called Falcon. FYI, Falcon 2 just came out, and what an Incrédible thing that is. I use it to create sounds that I can bring into my iPad for use with any app like beatmaker 3. With Falcon and Serum, I feel so lucky because of the sounds I can create. I have my eye on Hive 2 because it has some insane features. Sorry for digressing so far. I get carried away. Isn't it cool how much we can do with so little investment. I still can't believe it. Cool video, as usual. Thanks nan and keep them coming.
Again. Not a comprehensive Review or full BEATHAWK tutorial... The Title describes EXACTLY what's happening in this video. It's a BM3 Tutorial 😅 if you guys want a Beathawk Tutorial I mentioned that I could do a separate video for it. I guess no one heard that part or skimmed through it..
THANK YOU BRO! For stepping up and doin a deep dive into BeatHawk inside of BM3. This is EXACTLY what I was thinking when I brought the topic to the FB group.
No doubt man. Thanks again for the support. Let me know if you have any other questions or suggestions

Nice! Which packs are your favorite?

Dope fam. Thanks for tuning in

Man I appreciate that tutorial bro. I've had BeatHawk for months already, now I have a reason to use it again, thanks fam, 2020, let's get it 👍👍👍👍👍.
Dope! Glad this was useful to you
More beathawk tutorials, please. Great stuff!
Nice walkthrough.
Excellent work

BrandonRico Simpson definitely. I didn’t think of this being like the iPad version of Kontakt. Great analogy!
Yessir!
Nice stuff

Love your video you got a new sub keep up the good work
Cool. Looks definitely huge. Thanks man 👍🏽
No doubt 💪🏾😎
Awesome Job Bro ..we use a similar workflow
NICE!
Great video as usual!
Thank you fam

I swear I thought of you when I heard these libraries. You could really rock these bro. Thanks for the support!
Just got BeatHawk with talk box and strings exp (so far ) lol ......gonna try it out in cubasis so I can lay down vocal tracks though great tutorial
Dope I've been eyeballing that talkbox. Let me know how you like it

I find it hard to load my own kits. Any videos that help make it easy?
Yooooooooooooo, that Beat is DOPE!!!!
😎😎🙏🏾🙏🏾💪🏾
Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing. #Beatception 😂💯🔥
I have never used beatmaker 3 as of yet, I usually make all my beats stand alone in Beathawk but something to consider later on
What ? Lol I never used Beathawk. All I need is BeatMaker 3.
Only this is when is save what I did in beat maker three, and re load what all my beat hawk sounds change. How can I keep the sound from going away when I up load my songs
What is that keyboard you are using?
If you get sound packs for your Beathawk on the iPad, do you have to pay again for the sound packs when you put them on your I phone. They charged me both times.
Nope not unless you're signed in under two different accounts on both devices. Just click "restore purchases"
It would be interesting to know what generation of iPad you use and if you had CPU problems? Lets say using 5 tracks or so.

How did you get no latency over Bluetooth?
Subbed 👍🏽
When I export, how do I know where my export is going.
How does it work when it comes to copyrights when using these samplekits? I mean it must be fine for personal use but what about making money from it?
I'm assuming that if you payed for the app and any of the in app purchases, your purchase grants you license to use the samples and loops freely. Royalties collected from your original composition are yours to keep. Just like any other VST, Auv3 or Plugins.

You are allowed to collect royalties on the sounds as you paid for them, I have done so myself already on a several instrumental I made from beathawk
@@GrimeLab Awesome, that's what i wanted to know so thank you!
Hey wassup man, could you do a video on crossfading in beatmaker 3 ?
Yup!
I make my beats from beat hawk and beat maker three
I must be doing something wrong Everytime I open the beat I saved in BeatMaker I have to change the parts to keys to play the instrument instead of the pads

I like some of the features but the workflow isn’t as intuitive as I would like. That’s just my take on it.
Interesting. I need an Iphone lol I would like to make beats too!
Do you have an iPad at least?

Where’s the finished beat?
