We went to Stourport and the caves 3 weeks ago. We parked next to a leisure centre that looked like it belonged in the Ukraine, there was a dead badger on the river bridge footpath and a smackhead was jacking up in one of the caves. On a plus note, the fairground was nice
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! ...excelente tour vid!!! ...Especially as I had this set on 1.5x speed for the first half! From a anothers yawn of a Stourport vid. I used to love Stourport, I remember bring mates there years ago! We love the c'anals, the big park! And the fun fair! ...Mind you, last time there, going to el chippy! We met Stourport wildlife, as some unevolved critter though chucking a packet of our chips on the floor was funny... I'm glad my army mate with me decided to leave it too, and us to just walk off, or they might have not been walking away! lol. We were also disappointed that time, that the musical notes stepping stones were mostly not working... when did they go? Or are they still there? I can't see em on vids of recent years! Been living aboard for years, and returning, I thought of Stourport to move to... and after a TINY bit of Gooogling, decided it was a pit of crime! Adios! ...so living in a different pit of crime! HAHA!! ...but a bigger place, where I can escape the riff-raff more easily... unless I look in el mirror! lol Ya'd fink with all 'em CCTV cams there wouldn't be much crime... but just look at the place! It took a lot of crime to create that mess.

This isn’t nice to all the people who live in Stourport , you should show the good parts of stourport , stourport is amazing your showing all the bad things .
A very funny travelogue, with tongue firmly in cheek. Like most towns, Stourport has some rough edges and a few rough people who cause them, but it's far from all bad and the area around the canal and the basins is immaculate. Even the funfair is now (2019) a lot smarter than shown here. The locals are friendly and not all the pubs are for sale. Well worth a visit, I'd say.
Thanks Philip, everything you said was absolutely correct. From the rough to the smooth. Stourport has a lot to offer. Please come back in 2022. It has changed a bit, I think.
