Easy smoked Pork Belly!

  • Pork belly has gained a lot of popularity in the barbecue community in the last few years, and for good reason! It’s absolutely delicious, not to mention versatile, as you can see here with my whole smoked pork belly.
    The high-fat content of this cut makes it the perfect meat to cook low and slow. While you’ll often see pork belly used for pork belly burnt ends, smoking it whole results in delicious, juicy pork that will leave you wanting more!

    On the verge of perfect. Next time take it off at 180° internal and put it inside of a cooler wrapped up until it reaches 200°. Don’t take it off as soon as it reaches 200°. It will continue cooking when you take it off and actually reach 215-230° internally, depending on environmental factors. I can tell it’s not tender. Simple problem, simple solution!

      You could also cook it lower and slower to get a better result. I smoke everything at 180°.

      Wrong. As soon as it’s wrapped and put in a cooler the temp falls fast.

    90 minutes per pound? A 10 lb cut will take 15 hours.

      It’s pork. No one eats raw pork. Ever heard of trichanosis? This is simply over cooked. Still looks really good though. Just get off of your knees💀

      @@coledaniel9562 Trichinosis is not found in our farmed pork, it's completely safe. Raw uncooked pork is eaten a lot in Germany, Belgium, ...
