An eye-opening reflection on the values and culture that shape Nigerian men. 🌍 It’s important to understand the upbringing that influences their mindset, character, and approach to life.

This is very on point, this is not only limited to Nigerian men, I think it's a common treath amongst African men.

Nigerian men were largely raised to be strong, resilient, and providers for their families. Traditional Nigerian culture places a high value on masculinity, courage, and responsibility. Many Nigerian men were taught from a young age to be brave, hardworking, and respectful to their elders.
However, this traditional upbringing can sometimes come with societal pressures and expectations that can be challenging for modern Nigerian men to navigate. The importance of balancing cultural heritage with contemporary values and individuality cannot be overstated.

No, they have created a mutant Nigerian female who has realized that submitting and suffering with this type of man does not change anything.
So why must she bother with trying to be good since he will never be held accountable for any of his less than desirable actions

The thing about this is, even with our present day woke theories, it's a subtle thing happening daily, evident in the smallest things. I remember playing a game with guys and when I won, they literally downplayed my efforts unlike when a guy won.
    It pained me small sha😅.

I can confirm this cos I know someone who her elder brother will say terrible things to her at any little provocation, because she was living and working for him, if she complains to the mum, you will hear how it's not that bad and he will NEVER be called to order.
He finally threw her out of his house as he has always been threatening to do. I told her that she needs is a good job, she will definitely be fine.
So, when you said they are rarely held accountable, I understand 💯 percent.

The mentality of people's this days can be very harzardous
Parents should teach their children about equality, and not superiority cause this is a mistake most parents make and it ends up badly.
The outcome of a person's life starts from the trainings in the home.
