9:38-9:45 Given their history, I think if Eddie were involved in the survivor series match most likely Rey Mysterio would've left Smackdown team. Rey and Eddie started their feud just before No Way Out. They teamed, had the classic Mania 21 match, had dissention, lost the belts, Eddie took out Rey with the brainbuster on the stairs then cut a great promo with the torn mask. The Dominik thing was goofy, but the matches were still good. After all that I think Rey would give up his place on team Smackdown. No babyface is dumb or kind enough to forgive an ex best friend that targeted his son. I think Bobby Lashley stays to give some big 4 PPV exposure to the fresh young upstart.
@@jerryramey1849 true though Vince liked booking babyfaces as idiots so Rey may have stayed on. Also the whole thing could have been it’s a brand war so put aside past issues this once
My favorite in the series so far! Eddie and HBK is my dream match. Definitely agree Rey & Batista holding the tag titles a little longer would have been fun; wish I could have seen them vs. London & Kendrick 🤘
@@ckludecke hmmm. • What if Ken Kennedy stayed healthy and didn’t lose MITB to Edge? • What if The Brian Kendrick won the WWE Championship Scramble? • What if Hade Vansen actually debuted and fueded with The Undertaker? • How would YOU have booked Spike Dudley’s run as “The boss” of the family? • How would you have booked a legitimate run with the Intercontinental Championship for Zack Ryder?
Very good video...good way to setup HBK vs Eddie with HBK winning the Rumble and Eddie winning the World Heavyweight Championship(which was suppose to happen forreal). It's interesting that Orton windup taking Eddies spot in that Survivor Series...wonder with Batista being injured, would Orton have took his spot instead on Team Smackdown.
I guess since Eddie Guerrero doesn't die in this video, I was wondering if you could do a "What If Chris Benoit Didn't Die In 2007" video considering that a lot of people (myself included) believe if Eddie was still alive in '07, The Benoit Family Tragedy wouldn't have happened.
Hot take i do believe at times that if he din't die i think the Benoit tragedy could have maybe happen because of Benoit even still going crazy and even with Eddie was alive he did have problem in is head and also the mystery of that case made me question at time.
Great! I brought this up because this was an idea that has been floating around in my brain ever since I came upon your channel about 2 months ago. I also figured that it would be interesting to hear your perspective on what would it would have been like to see John Cena become heel after losing to the Rock at Wrestlemania 28 and looking back on it, I thought that it was a missed opportunity from WWE to make it happen at that time. I chose the story to take place the night after Wrestlemania 28 and have the events play out in real life with Lesnar returning to WWE after eight years, but what I would change in this timeline is have Lesnar beat Cena at Extreme Rules and Cena can go through this state of decline to the point where he becomes more aggressive, more ruthless, and as the fans turn on him, the more angrier he gets.
Another benefit to Lashley v Guerrero would be Lashley could (in your timeline) learn from the veteran Guerrero and get some indispensable knowledge to Lashley. Its a case of a young prospect coming close and going at it with a top star. The booking principal of a young star looking good in defeat.
My top 5 what if Montreal Screwjob never happened? What if the Rock didn’t go to Hollywood? What if Steve Austin Never walkout in 2002? What if Owen still alive in 1999? What If Bret Hart never left WWF in 1997?
I think if Batista did get injured during this timeline i doubt Guerrero will have win the World champion because he said in is book that he never wanted to be World champion and the reason he drop the belt soon because he push to tha happen and he choose JBL. I think he will have a opportunity in the Main event but not as Champion and a match with HBK will have being🔥.
Just my opinion but I don't think Rey's career would be as heavily cemented if Eddie didn't pass away. I believe he still would have been champion about 4-5 yr's later.
