Finally someone got out of the suburbs and got some real video downtown. As everyone else has said your production is obviously a step above the rest of us. Seeing that 10 yarder get tossed around with the qwik tip was wild, those bins are too big to be handled safely IMO. Very nice of the kid doing the route to let you put up the camera and follow him around town, he looks younger than your average big city commercial driver. Hope he’s watching this, because you did a phenomenal job
Haha I’ve been hoping to do it for a while, so glad to hear you enjoyed it! The way Quik-Tips work you can handle any size container without worrying too much, and it’s faster than using the winch. The driver has been watching my channel for a while and offered to let me ride along for the day, and he actually had the idea to put the camera on the truck lol he’s a really young guy, just finished his second year of college and already killing it on route.
My uncle owned a refuse company with 2 rear loaders Both Leach. And Now he sold it to Waste Partners Inc. In Northern Minnesota. I may soon be a commercial route driver for a local company. Our family has been in the waste business for years.
This one is sooo good wow that's sooo awesome loved how this driver collecting the rear loaders in 1 route and his routine is absolutely amazing I'm proud of you brother glad you got here early
Amazing work Grant! This is definitely one of the most well put together and best edited videos of a garbage truck on TH-cam! It was super cool to see a downtown route and to see the driver navigate those super tight streets . The GoPro shots came out super well and I especially loved the shot at 14:10 with the train passing through! Outstanding job on this one!
Thanks dude, so glad to hear you enjoyed it! Chicago is a really cool place to film, as well as very intricate for a driver haha those were some of my favorite shots too! Thanks for the comment!
Awesome work Grant! I absolutely love the music, transitions, and video angles in this video. One of my favorite things about this video is the beautiful skyline in some of these clips, and the different types of alley ways, streets, garages, and more! This has got to be the best garbage truck video I've ever seen on TH-cam. Overall outstanding job on this video, I extremely enjoyed it!
Thanks dude! This was a fun one to put together so I’m glad to hear you enjoyed all that went into it. The skyline was the cherry on top, and the variety of stops only made it more fun in my opinion. Really appreciate your kind words, thanks for watching + commenting!
I watched this a couple of days ago, but I knew my comment would be so long I had to wait until I had time to write it properly, lol. This is purely amazing!! It was awesome seeing the top of the cab view of all the maneuvering in and out of alleys, and then seeing all those containers serviced too. Rear load commercial is hands down one of my all time favorite things to watch, and this set the bar high! On top of the awesome camerawork, this truck looks killer! SBC’s paint scheme and decals just compliment each other so well, and I just can’t get enough of it! Well done Grant, this video is a 100/10 for sure, I know what kind of work goes into a video like this too, and I know it took a decent amount of time and effort too. Fav for sure!!
Haha so glad you took the time to leave a comment, I appreciate it man! So happy to hear you enjoyed it, it certainly isn’t every day you get to see some video from Chicago either. I always like watching commercial rear loaders too, and this truck just made it all the better in my opinion. I’m right there with you on that one, I think SBC’s trucks look stellar with their color scheme and logo. Again I really appreciate your kind words, thanks for the support!
Amazing work Grant! The varied angles and top notch editing made this extremely enjoyable, loved the different dumpsters and carts that fill the allies. Certainly cool to watch a skilled operator in a big city, did you get more footage to post in the future? Great video!!
Thank you! This one was really fun to film and put together, and the variety of stops only made it better! I’ll have some more footage to post for sure, glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks man! I always enjoy watching rear load collection in areas like this too, and although I don’t have any routes for that truck I can certainly try to get some video of it! Appreciate the comment, and I’m a big fan of your videos!
@@Master69Draco hey would you mind sending me an email info4midwesttrashtrucks@gmail.com I would like to get in contact with someone at IRS to get some video of the trucks
Love the video - great footage!

That’s really cool! What was the name of his company?
Best Midwest trash videos are on this channel period. This was a phenomenal view of what the guys downtown do every day. Hats off to them.
Thanks man, really appreciate it! Chicago sure is the place to film, glad to hear you enjoyed the video!
Chicago alley is the most iconic place to meet a garbage truck!
Love the Mack MR AND MRU
Never though the alleys were so tight but from the top point if veiw they were. One of your best vids. Putting into my favorites playlist :)
Couldn't try that with a 53 foot trailer.
What a fantastic video, the scene at 14:00 is just epic!!! I’d frame a still of that 💪🏽💪🏽

Superbly done! I've always been a big fan of Chicago Commercial rear load. Could we expect to see Roy Strom's 751 on a commercial route one day? 😎🔥🔥💪
Thanks man! I always enjoy watching rear load collection in areas like this too, and although I don’t have any routes for that truck I can certainly try to get some video of it! Appreciate the comment, and I’m a big fan of your videos!
@@midwesttrashtrucks my pleasure and thank you 😎💪

Is the Chicagoland area mostly rear load trucks or are there asl as well?
There’s a handful of ASLs here, take a look around my channel if you would like to see some of them.
Great video bud
Do they work at nights over there?
I know some companies run night routes, although I don’t believe SBC does. Glad you enjoyed!
What music is this
Great vid..young kid i like it..but shouldnt his company atleast give him uniform pants
Downtown commercial and still no IRS, that's all we do.
I think it would be really cool to film some of IRS’ trucks but I don’t have any routes
@@midwesttrashtrucks I'll see about Beef or Craig Sherman's route
