A very important subject and some great shots in the video. Very well put together! I also break the rule of thirds when I have a certain vision and just go with my gut. However, when it comes to exposure, I don't see that there is a compromise at all. Bad exposure really ruins the best of shots. When I shoot during the day, I mostly end up in high contrast situations and the decision you make about how to handle your exposure in such situations can be the difference between an amazing shot and a lousy one. This is why I look for bodies that offer me the best dynamic range so I know what to expect from my post and plan my exposure accordingly when conditions are not ideal.
When I go out to photograph I'm not thinking about lighting or composition, I'm actually worrying about how much of my brandy (you know who) is going to drink while I'm away pretending to be Henri Cartier-Bresson. You mentioned something about having few comments on the channel, I believe that photography talk and inspiring others is better (or more useful) than gear talk, but many people prefer gear reviews for different reasons and/or behind the scenes "stuff" in general, like studio work with models, product photography, etc. I believe that you're doing good, but going through growing pains. Be well and stay safe.
Oh I am sure is more exiting to see someone photographing the (you know who’s 😂) brandy and show of their final results. But to be able to understand what the photographer is actually showing means you need a bit of knowledge about the fundamentals. So, what I am trying to do is to get those interested in photography understand that buying any camera or lens or filter won’t instantly make you a photographer. It’s not working well, apparently 😁😂😂 Thank you, my friend. 🙏🏼
great video
Thanks for another great video
Thank you for watching, William👍
