Reality TV isn’t “scripted”, but it is “produced”. The company I used to work for was on a reality TV show a couple years ago. It sometimes looks “fake”, but a lot of it was “real”. I got to see how reality TV works... we all had to be interviewed before they selected who was going to be on film. The customers were real, but they were not paying customers... the services were free for being on the show, but they didn’t know why until they arrived and had to sign NDA’s before filming.
...it’s kinda hard to explain, but if you’ve been part of something similar it’s easier to understand what I’m talking about, but it’s definitely not “scripted”. 🤷🏽♂️
