He doesn’t scold him for certain things like stealing his card (what he thought was his card) to buy candy, running around in public without clothes, playing tricks to get what he wants, saying no when he’s asked to do something, etc. These may seem small now, but they’re going to be problems when he gets older if not corrected now. He shouldn’t have to constantly play tricks on him and bribe him to get him to listen.

Seungjae show love to his parents through actions (we have seen this many times) Jiyong should be happy with that. He should talk about life, wisdom, animals, space, play board games also doing science experiment instead doing hard just make Seungjae like him. It will be great if they could go to National Dinosaur Museum in Australia or Museum für naturkunde.
