For those interested, the songs used in order were: A Father's Pride - 0:00 Lunacy - 2:28 Wayward Daughter - 4:08 They just did a wonderful job making everything flow together, driving me to tears every time.
How innocence turns into tragedy and suffering? well, this angelical and tragic masterpiece perfectly illustrates how. Let's enjoy it and don't forget to remind the maiden that she couldn't be happy.
Every time i listen to this its like im brought back to the night i did the questline, where i sobbed for what felt like hours. its like someone reached into my chest and gashed me in the heart. i think it was one of the few moments in my life where my pain and anothers were one, a moment i felt Empathy
Thank you so much for uploading these! I was thrilled to be in Japan at the time and was able to attend this orchestra live - I still get chills hearing these live recordings! I own the DVD/BD but have no player to play it on unfortunately so I really appreciate this!
I dont care about losing work, the economy tanking, wearing masks.... the biggest thing I'm upset that covid screwed up was eorzean symphony coming back to the US lol. I cant wait to experience this in person one day. The first symphony was so amazing, and this track list is even more exciting. Edit: JULY 2023!!!!!! FINALLY
I'm so mad that I had the opportunity to go back in 2018. Had the time, had the money, and it was literally an hour away. I didn't go for some reason and I've regretted it ever since.
Hey, I was curious if you had to edit the audience's applause out or if the version you bought didn't include their applause as part of each track. I noticed that the album the album was available on itunes as well, but each track has the clapping at the end of each track from the performance.

Gonna be honest, Yotsuyu was, and still is, one of my favorite characters in XIV. I love this and thank you so much for uploading.
4:16 made me ascend. Also Square Enix owes me for emotional damage 5:55.
Lunacy just hits hella different from an orchestra

It's a live recording, mate.
If you bought the blu-ray there should be a version without the applause. That’s how it is on the first concert blu-ray.
The audio here is from the orchestral album which was recorded separately from the performance. The actual live bluray has the live audio.
