Kyowa Seiko, which manufactures MINASE, was founded in 1963 as a cutting tool manufacturer.
Kyowa entered the watch related business by manufacturing "stepped drills" used for drilling holes for crowns. Starting with cutting tool manufacturing, we have many years of experience in case forging, cutting, polishing, assembling and every other process. As a result of such experience, we came to the point that we want to make our ideal watch, with the power we have. We named the brand as "Minase", which is the name of the place of production, embodying our understanding of the spirit of Japanese manufacturing. Sharp edges and clear contrast. The delicate touch, can only be achieved by craftsmanship. A watch of perpetuation.
