Don't get me wrong; I've been "bingeing" on this series... It's very interesting to look at iconography from a scholastic/artistic viewpoint, for a change, since I've had it hammered into my brain from a strictly religious viewpoint for so many years.
She seems to be so defeated by "Greek" ("oh my gosh, it's in Greek, I couldn't possibly read it, it's so foreign")... Her, as a professional artist who studies Greek art, you'd think she'd have mastered the art of , aka "beautiful writing"... She can see lines, but she can't read them?

I notice that she likes to put extra "i"s into words... She says "pectorials" instead of "pectorals", for instance
