@@masm54 there isnt a factory R22 with a turbine there is a experimental R22 that someone has put a small turbine engine into and then theres the R66 which is a 5 seat turbine made by the same company as the R22
I don't think it was poorly balanced or it would have come apart with increasing rpm. I think it was just because the rotorhead was tilted, so that one blade works upwards and the other one downwards. Just a guess, I'm a fixed wing pilot after all...
Helis will do that on the first spool up of the day if you don’t get the blades perfect straight when taking them out of the swing back transport mode.
Good flight ❤
Hi Dom, looks fantastic like the real one. 😁
Nice scale flying

Glad you think so! I did too.

di pasangi kamera action mantap buat foto video. tapi harganya mahal kayaknya helikopter rc ini
The real R22 is powered by flat 4 piston engine...
They took the engine from an old Ford Sierra 1.6 GL
Yeah, fail to see the point..
There are turbine versions

That looks well out of balance.
All the helicopters I’ve built over the years I balance everything.
Nice Model all the same
