The ability to take up & deliver bulk assignments (eg. 50+ songs in a year for at least 10 years) 2. To have the ability to balance the requirements of the producer, distributors, matinee idols and still leave a stamp of the composer's style 3. The ability to deliver hits for multiple song-situations in a movie. 4. The ability to compose hummable yet melodious songs for a large cross section of movie goers. All in my humble opinion.
