    I love this. Could you please add the materials including what kind of rope you used, the length of the rope and dimension of the beads in your description? That might help beginners. Your instructions are good to follow. Thank you for sharing this.

      Long cord should be wrapped around wrist/neck/ankle, fold cord 3x then cut. Then, fold the entire length in half and cut the second (short cord) to the same length as half of the long cord. Measurements are dependent on where the piece is going to be used and individually specific.

    I am a crafter by birth. seemed like i came out with a needle saw or anything i could create, until i decided to make a friendship bracelet i went weeks with strings and nothing. only thing i knew was to make a square and they teach you taht in school well thanks for Angeera because now i will be in venting a whole bunch of things and selling vs me buy these pretty bracelet s now can you teach me the chevon.

    I love this but I keep having a problem with the glued square knot coming undone. Did you wait a while before continuing?

      I used Fabric glue and waited for 10mins to let it fix properly.

      Thread 1- 3ft
      Thread 2- 6ft

      Did you use the cord as 6 ft and 3 ft? In the video the lengths she uses don’t look that long.

      @@nancytaylor9457 It can be made in shorter length also but I have kept the length of the thread a little longer so that knots can be tied easily. If the length is less, then there can be a problem in tying knots at the end.

    what brand of cord do you use? also did you run into any trouble trying to put the bead through the cord? that’s my main issue right now

      I applied glue on tip of thread to easily put beads through the thread.
      I purchased thread from local market. 🙂

      Sure, it can be made.
      But, bracelet made from macrame cord will be more rigid and stay in shape.

      Second turn should start from other side. If you see the video closely, you will notice it.

    3ft and 6ft measurements for the cords are way too long for a wrist bracelet, it would be nice if the measurements were fixed.

    Hey what is that glue you are using to seal the loose ends? I use hot glue on a bamboo skewer.
